The ADV3200/ADV3201 are 32 × 32 analog crosspoint switch matrices. They feature a selectable sync-tip clamp input forac-coupled applications and an on-screen display (OSD) insertion mux. With −48 dB of crosstalk and −80 dB isolationat 5 MHz, the ADV3200/ADV3201 are useful in many high density routing applications. The 0.1 dB flatness out to 60 MHz makes the ADV3200/ADV3201 ideal for composite video switching.The 32 independent output buffers of the ADV3200/ADV3201 can be placed into a high impedance state for paralleling crosspoint outputs so that off-channels present minimal loading to an output bus if building a larger array. The part is available in gain of +1 (ADV3200) or +2 (ADV3201) for ease of use in back-terminated load applications. A single 5 V supply, dual ±2.5 V supplies, or dual ±3.3 V supplies (G = +2) can be used while consuming only 250 mA of idle current with all outputs enabled. The AD1940 / AD1941 are a complete 28-bit, single-chip, multi-channel audio SigmaDSP™ for equalization, multiband dynamic processing, delay compensation, speaker compensation, and image enhancement. These algorithms can be used to compen-sate for the real world limitations of speakers, amplifiers, and listening environments, resulting in a dramatic improvement of perceived audio quality.The signal processing used in the AD1940 / AD1941 is comparable to that found in high end studio equipment. The ADuM5210 / ADuM5211 / ADuM5212 are dual-channel digitalisolators with isoPower®, an integrated, isolated dc-to-dc converter. The ADuM7223 is a 4A isolated, half-bridge gate driver that employ Analog Devices, Inc.’s iCoupler® technology to provide independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as the combination of pulse transformers and non-isolated gate drivers. The ADuM7640 / ADuM7641 / ADuM7642 / ADuM7643 are 6-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. These 1 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 20-lead QSOP. They offer space savings and a lower price than 2.5 kV or 5 kV isolation solutions when only functional isolation is needed.This family, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very low power consumption, using one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators, with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V. The AD9978 is a highly integrated, dual-channel CCD signal processor for high speed digital video camera applications. Each channel is specified at pixel rates of up to 65 MHz and consists of a complete analog front end with ADC conversion. The Precision Timing™ core allows adjustment of the correlated double sampler (CDS) and sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA) clocks with 240 ps resolution at 65 MHz operation. The AD9978 also contains a reduced range, low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) interface for the dual-channel data outputs.Each analog front end includes black level clamping, a CDS, a VGA, and a 65 MHz, 14-bit ADC. The AD5227 is Analog Devices’ latest 64-step up/down control digital potentiometer. This device performs the same electronic adjustment function as a 5 V potentiometer or variable resistor. Its simple 3-wire up/down interface allows manual switching or high speed digital control. The AD5227 presets to midscale at power-up. When CS is enabled, the devices changes step at every clock pulse. The direction is determined by the state of the U/D pin (see ). The interface is simple to activate by any host controller, discrete logic, or manually with a rotary encoder or pushbuttons. The AD5291 and AD5292 are single-channel, 256-/1024-position digital potentiometers that combine industry leading variable resistor performance with nonvolatile memory (NVM) in a compact package. These devices are capable of operating across a wide voltage range, supporting both dual supply operation at ±10.5 V to ±16.5 V and single supply operation at +21 V to +33 V, while ensuring less than 1% end-to-end resistor tolerance error and offering 20-time programmable (20-TP) memory.The guaranteed industry leading low resistor tolerance error feature simplifies open-loop applications as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications.The AD5291 and AD5292 device wiper settings are controllable through the SPI digital interface. The AD736 is a low power, precision, monolithic true rms-to-dc converter. It is laser trimmed to provide a maximum error of ±0.3 mV ± 0.3% of reading with sine wave inputs. Furthermore, it maintains high accuracy while measuring a wide range of input waveforms, including variable duty-cycle pulses and triac (phase)-controlled sine waves. The low cost and small size of this converter make it suitable for upgrading the performance of non-rms precision rectifiers in many applications. Compared to these circuits, the AD736 offers higher accuracy at an equal or lower cost.The AD736 can compute the rms value of both ac and dc input voltages. It can also be operated as an ac-coupled device by adding one external capacitor. In this mode, the AD736 can resolve input signal levels of 100 μV rms or less, despite variations in temperature or supply voltage. High accuracy is also maintained for input waveforms with crest factors of 1 to 3. In addition, crest factors as high as 5 can be measured (introducing only 2.5% additional error) at the 200 mV full-scale input level.The AD736 has its own output buffer amplifier, thereby pro-viding a great deal of design flexibility. Requiring only 200 μA of power supply current, the AD736 is optimized for use in portable multimeters and other battery-powered applications.The AD736 allows the choice of two signal input terminals: a high impedance FET input (1012 Ω) that directly interfaces with High-Z input attenuators and a low impedance input (8 kΩ) that allows the measurement of 300 mV input levels while operating from the minimum power supply voltage of +2.8 V, −3.2 V.
