The ADIS16136 iSensor® MEMS Gyroscope is a high performance, digital gyroscope sensing system that operates autonomously and requires no user configuration to produce accurate rate sensing data. It provides performance advantages with low noise density, wide bandwidth, and excellent in-run bias stability, which are enablingfor applications such as platform control, navigation, robotics,and medical instrumentation.This sensor system combines industry leading iMEMS® technology with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance.The factory calibration characterizes the entire sensor signal chainfor sensitivity and bias over a temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.As a result, each ADIS16136 has its own unique correction formulasto produce accurate measurements upon installation. Forsome systems, the factory calibration eliminates the need forsystem level calibration and greatly simplifies it for others.The ADIS16136 provides data at rates of up to 2048 SPS andoffers an averaging/decimation filter structure for optimizingnoise/bandwidth trade-offs. The serial peripheral interface (SPI)and user register structure provide easy access to configurationcontrols and calibrated sensor data for embedded processorplatforms.The 36 mm × 44 mm × 14 mm package provides four holes forsimple mechanical attachment, using M2 (or 2-56 standard size)machine screws along with a standard 24-pin, dual row, 1 mmpitch connector that supports electrical attachment to a printedcircuit board (PCB) or cable system. ADXRS624BBGZ

The ADXRS624 is a complete angular rate sensor (gyroscope) that uses the Analog Devices, Inc., surface-micromachining process to create a functionally complete and low cost angular rate sensor integrated with all required electronics on one chip. The manufacturing technique for this device is the same high volume BiMOS process used for high reliability automotive airbag accelerometers.The ADXRS624 is an automotive grade gyroscope. Automotive grade gyroscopes have more extensive guaranteed min/max specifications due to automotive testing.The output signal, RATEOUT (1B, 2A), is a voltage proportional to angular rate about the axis normal to the top surface of the package. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. A single external resistor between SUMJ and RATEOUT can be used to lower the scale factor. An external capacitor sets the bandwidth. Other external capacitors are required for operation. A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite the sensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signal conditioning circuits.
