LTC3625EDE-1#TRPBF

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC3625/LTC3625-1 are programmable supercapacitor chargers designed to charge two supercapacitors in series to a fixed output voltage (4.8V/5.3V or 4V/4.5V selectable) from a 2.7V to 5.5V input supply. Automatic cell balancing prevents overvoltage damage to either supercapacitor while maximizing charge rate. No balancing resistors are required.High efficiency, high charging current, low quiescent current and low minimum external parts count (one inductor, one bypass capacitor at VIN and one programming resistor) make the LTC3625/LTC3625-1 ideally suited for small form factor backup or high peak power systems.Charging current/maximum input current level is programmed with an external resistor. When the input supply is removed and/or the EN pin is low, the LTC3625/LTC3625-1 automatically enter a low current state, drawing less than 1μA from the supercapacitors. The LTC3625/LTC3625-1 are available in a compact 12‑lead 3mm × 4mm × 0.75mm DFN package.Applications Servers, RAID Systems, Mass Storage, High Current Backup Supplies Solid State Hard Drives Wireless Power Meters High Peak Power Boosted Supplies

The LTC3677-3 is a highly integrated power management IC for single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer battery applications. It includes a PowerPath manager with automatic load prioritization, a battery charger, an ideal diode, input overvoltage protection and numerous other internal protection features. The LTC3677-3 is designed to accurately charge from current limited supplies such as USB by automatically reducing charge current such that the sum of the load current and the charge current does not exceed the programmed input current limit (100mA or 500mA modes). The LTC3677-3 reduces the battery voltage at elevated temperatures to improve safety and reliability. The three step-down switching regulators and two LDOs provide a wide range of available supplies. The LTC3677-3 also includes a pushbutton input to control power sequencing and system reset. The LTC3677-3 has pushbutton timing and sequencing designed to support the SiRF Atlas IV processor. MAX20335GEWX+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX20335 is a battery-charge-management solution ideal for low-power wearable applications. The device includes a linear battery charger with a smart power selector and several power-optimized peripherals. The MAX20335 features two ultra-low quiescent current buck regulators and three ultra-low quiescent current low-dropout (LDO) linear regulators, providing up to five regulated voltages, each with an ultra-low quiescent current, allows designers to minimize power consumption and extend battery life in 24/7 operation devices, such as those in the wearable market. The battery charger features a smart power selector that allows operation on a dead battery when connected to a power source. To avoid overloading a power adapter, the input current to the smart power selector is limited based on an I2C register setting. If the charger power source is unable to supply the entire system load, the smart power control circuit supplements the system load with current from the battery. The charger also supports temperature dependent charge currents. The two synchronous, high-efficiency step-down buck regulators feature a variable frequency mode for increased efficiency during light-load operation. The output voltage of these regulators can be programmed through I2C with the default preconfigured. The buck regulators cansupport dynamic voltage scaling to further improve system power consumption. The three configurable LDOs each have a dedicated input pin. Each LDO regulator output voltage can be programmed through I2C with the default preconfigured. The linear regulators can also be configured to operate as power switches that may be used to disconnect the quiescent load of the system peripherals. The MAX20335 features a programmable power controller that allows the device to be configured for applications that require the device be in a true-off, or always-on, state. The controller also provides a delayed reset signal and voltage sequencing. The MAX20335 is available in a 36-bump, 0.4mm pitch, 2.72mm x 2.47mm wafer-level package (WLP).ApplicationsFitness MonitorsRechargeable IoT devicesWearable Electronics

MAX14921ECS+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX14920/MAX14921 battery measurement analog front-end devices accurately sample cell voltages and provide level shifting for primary/secondary battery packs up to 16 cells/+65V (max). The MAX14920 monitors up to 12 cells, while the MAX14921 monitors up to 16 cells. Both devices simultaneously sample all cell voltages, allowing accurate state-of-charge and source-resistance determination. All cell voltages are level shifted to ground reference with unity gain, simplifying external ADC data conversion. The devices have a low-noise, low-offset amplifier that buffers differential voltages of up to +5V, allowing monitoring of all common lithium-ion (Li+) cell technologies. The resulting cell voltage error is ±0.5mV.The devices’ high accuracy make them ideal for monitoring cell chemistries with very flat discharge curves, such as lithium-metal phosphate.Passive-cell balancing is supported by external FET drivers. Integrated diagnostics in the devices allow open-wire detection and undervoltage/overvoltage alarms. The devices are controlled by a daisy-chainable SPI interface. The MAX14920 is available in a 64-pin (10mm x 10mm) TQFP package with an exposed pad. The MAX14921 is available in an 80-pin (12mm x 12mm) TQFP package. MAX1259EWE+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX1259 battery manager provides backup-batteryswitching for CMOS RAM, microprocessors, or otherlow-power logic ICs. It automatically switches to thebackup battery when the primary power supply is interrupted.Low-loss switches guarantee an input-to-outputdifferential of only 200mV while supplying 250mA fromthe primary power supply or 15mA from the battery.Battery discharge during shipping does not occur in theMAX1259, since the backup battery can be disconnectedby strobing the RST input.A battery-fail output signal indicates when the backupbattery is below +2V, and a power-fail output signal indicateswhen the primary power supply is low. TheMAX1259 monitors the backup battery, warns ofimpending power failures, and switches the memory tothe battery when failures occur. The MAX1259 is pin-compatiblewith the DS1259, but consumes three timesless supply current. Commercial, extended, and militarytemperature range devices are available.ApplicationsBattery Backup for CMOS RAMComputersControllersUninterruptible Power Supplies
