The LT3461/LT3461A are general purpose fixed frequency current mode step-up DC/DC converters. Both devices feature an integrated Schottky and a low VCESAT switch allowing a small converter footprint and lower parts cost. The LT3461 switches at 1.3MHz while the LT3461A switches at 3MHz. These high switching frequencies enable the use of tiny, low cost and low height capacitors and inductors. The constant switching frequency results in predictable output noise that is easy to filter, and the inductor based topology ensures an input free from switching noise typically present with charge pump solutions. The high voltage switch in the LT3461/LT3461A is rated at 40V making the device ideal for boost converters up to 38V.The LT3461/LT3461A are available in a low profile (1mm) SOT-23 package. The SYNC pin allows clock synchronization and choice of Burst Mode operation or pulse-skipping mode. Soft-start and tracking functionality is accessed via the TR/SS pin. The LT8631 is a current mode PWM step-down DC/DC converter with internal synchronous switches that provide current for output loads up to 1A. The wide input range of 3V to 100V makes the LT8631 suitable for regulating power from a wide variety of sources, including automotive and industrial systems and 36V to 72V telecom supplies. Low ripple Burst Mode operation enables high efficiency operation down to very low output currents while keeping the output ripple below 10mVP-P. Resistor programmable 100kHz to 1MHz frequency range and synchronization capability enable optimization between efficiency and external component size. The soft-start feature controls the ramp rate of the output voltage, eliminating input current surge during start-up, while also providing output tracking. A power good flag signals when the output voltage is within ?7.5% of the regulated output. Undervoltage lockout can be programmed using the EN/UV pin. Shutdown mode reduces the total quiescent current to < 5?A. The LTC2926 provides a simple solution for tracking and sequencing up to three power supply rails. An N-channel MOSFET and a few resistors per channel configure the load voltages to ramp up and down together, with voltage offsets, with time delays or with different ramp rates.Automatic remote sense switching compensates for voltage drops across the MOSFETs.
