The LT8495 is an adjustable frequency (250kHz to 1.5MHz) monolithic switching regulator with a power-on reset and watchdog timer. Quiescent current can be less than 9?A when operating and is ~0.3?A when SWEN, WDE and RSTIN are low. Configurable as a SEPIC, boost or flyback converter, the low ripple Burst Mode operation maintains high efficiency at low output current while keeping output ripple below 10mV. Dual supply pins (VIN and BIAS) allow the part to automatically operate from the most efficient supply. Input supply voltage can be up to 60V for SEPIC topologies and up to 32V (with ride-through up to 60V) for boost and flyback topologies. After start-up, battery life is extended since the part can draw current from its output (BIAS) even when VIN voltage drops below 2.5V.The reset and watchdog timeout periods are independently adjustable using external capacitors. Using a resistor divider on the SWEN pin provides a programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for the converter. A resistor divider connected to RSTIN provides UVLO control that asserts the RST pin.Additional features such as frequency foldback and soft-start are integrated. Fault tolerance in the TSSOP allows for adjacent pin shorts or an open without raising the output voltage above its programmed value. The LT8495 is available in 20-lead QFN and 20-lead TSSOP packages with exposed pads for low thermal resistance.Applications Automotive ECU Power Power for Portable Products Industrial Supplies

The LTC4420 is a dual input monolithic PowerPath? prioritizer, with low operating current, that provides backup switchover for keeping critical circuitry alive during brownout and power loss conditions. Unlike diode-OR products, little current is drawn from the inactive supply even if its voltage is greater than the active supply.Internal 2?, current limited PMOS switches provide power path selection from a primary input (V1) or a backup input (V2) to the output. Two adjustable voltage monitors set via external resistive dividers provide flexibility in setting V1 to V2 switchover and V2 undervoltage thresholds. V1 is monitored continuously while V2 supply monitoring includes controllable low duty cycle UV monitoring. When primary input V1 drops, the ADJ monitor causes OUT to be switched to V2. When V2 drops, it is disconnected from OUT if V2DIS is low. Fast non-overlap switchover circuitry prevents reverse and cross conduction while minimizing output droop.Auxiliary voltage monitor CMP1 provides flexible voltage monitoring and output V2OK provides V2 undervoltage status. Freshness seal?mode prevents V2 battery discharge during storage or shipment.Applications Low Power Battery Backup Portable Equipment Point-of-Sale (POS) Equipment

LTM4636 Demo Board | Buck μModule Regulator, Stacked Inductor, 4.7V ≤ VIN ≤ 15V, VOUT = 0.6V to 3.3V @ 40A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2230A-A features the LTM4636EY, a 40A high efficiency, switch mode step-down power μModule® regulator. The input voltage range is from 4.7V to 15V. For input voltage range from 4.7V to 5.5V, short PVCC pin to VIN pin with R8 = R21 = 0Ω and remove R17. The output voltage range is 0.6V to 3.3V. Derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, frequency and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions. For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulse-skipping mode for noise sensitive applications or Burst Mode® operation in less noise sensitive applications. The MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4636 to synchronize to an external clock signal. DC2230A-A has the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuit for LTM4636. Tying the PHASMD pin to different voltage generates certain phase difference between MODE_PLLIN and CLKOUT. The LTM4636 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual prior to working on or modifying demo circuit DC2230A-A.

LT1613CS5 LT1611CS5 | 1.4MHz, SOT-23 DC-DC Converter, 3 Circuits: LT1613 Boost and SEPIC, LT1611 Inverter
Analog Devices Inc.
The LT1611 and LT1613 are 5-lead SOT-23, current mode DC/DC converters. Intended for small, low power applications, both operate from inputs as low as 1V and switch at 1.4MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost capacitors and inductors. DC233 contains three switching regulator circuits. Two of these demonstrate the use of the LT1613CS5 in a simple boost regulator circuit and in an uncoupled SEPIC circuit. Both circuits produce 3.3V or 5V (jumper selected). The boost circuit produces 200mA in a typical application and occupies less than 0.2 square inches of circuit board area. The SEPIC circuit allows operation from input voltages either higher or lower than the output, making this circuit suitable for single Li-Ion cell to 3.3V conversion or four alkaline cells to 5V conversion. Typical output current for the SEPIC circuit is 120mA. The third circuit demonstrates the LT1611CS5 in a low noise inverting circuit. This circuit can convert 5V to –5V at 160mA.

The LT8601 is a triple channel, current mode, monolithic buck switching regulator with a programmable power-on reset. All regulators are synchronized to a single oscillator with an adjustable frequency from 250kHz to 2.2MHz. The LT8601 can be configured for micropower Burst Mode or Pulse-Skipping operation at light load. Micropower operation results in quiescent current of 30?A with all three regulators operating as shown in the application below with no load applied. The high voltage channels are synchronous buck regulators that operate from an input of 3.0V to 42V. The output currents are up to 1.5A (OUT1) and 2.5A (OUT2). The low voltage channel operates from an input of 2.6V to 5.5V. Internal synchronous power switches provide high efficiency with output currents up to 1.8A. The LT8601 uses a 2-phase clock with channel 1 operating 180? from channels 2 and 3 to reduce input ripple current on both HV and LV inputs. All channels have cycle-by-cycle current limit, providing protection against shorted outputs. Thermal shutdown provides additional protection. The LT8601 is available in a 40-lead 6mm ? 6mm QFN package.APPLICATIONS Automotive Systems Distributed Supply Regulation Industrial Controls and Power Supplies

They maintain excellent current balance between channels when paralleled with their internal current sharing loop. Lossless DCR or a low value RSENSE is used for output current sensing. Multiple LTC7851/LTC7851-1 devices can be used for high phase count operation.A very low offset, high bandwidth error amplifier, combined with remote output voltage sensing, provides excellent transient response and output regulation. The LTC7851/ LTC7851-1 operates with a VCC supply voltage from 3V to 5.5V and is designed for step-down conversion with VIN from 3V to 27V and produces an output voltage from 0.6V to VCC ? 0.5V.The LTC7851-1 is identical to the LTC7851 except it has a lower current sense amplifier gain, making it ideal for DrMOS devices with internal current sense.Applications High Current Distributed Power Systems DSP, FPGA and ASIC Supplies Datacom, Telecom and Computing Systems
