The LTC3722-1/LTC3722-2 phase-shift PWM controllers provide all of the control and protection functions necessary to implement a high efficiency, zero voltage switched (ZVS), full bridge power converter. Adaptive ZVS circuitry delays the turn-on signals for each MOSFET independent of internal and external component tolerances. Manual delay set mode enables secondary side control operation or direct control of switch turn-on delays. The LTC3722-1/LTC3722-2 feature adjustable synchronous rectifier timing for optimal efficiency. A UVLO program input provides accurate system turn-on and turn-off voltages. The LTC3722-1 features peak current mode control with programmable slope compensation and leading edge blanking, while the LTC3722-2 employs voltage mode control. The LTC3722-1/LTC3722-2 feature extremely low operating and start-up currents. Demonstration circuit SCP-ADP150-EVALZ features the ADP150, an ultralow noise (9μV), low dropout, linear regulator that operates from 2.2V to 5.5V and provides up to 150mA of output current. ADP150AUJZ-3.3-R7 fixed volt-age IC is installed on this board. Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. The ADM7172 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 2 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 ?F ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 ?s for a 1 mA to 1.5 A load step.The ADM7172 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. The ADN8833 is a monolithic H-bridge TEC driver with integrat-ed 1 A power MOSFETs. It has a linear power stage with the linear driver (LDR) output and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) power stage with the SW output. Depending on the control voltage at the CONT input, the ADN8833 drives current through a TEC to settle the temperature of a laser diode or a passive component attached to the TEC module to the programmed target temperature.The control voltage applied to the CONT input is generated by a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) closing the digital proportional, integral, derivative (PID) loop of temperature control system.The internal 2.5 V reference voltage provides a 1% accurate output that is used to bias a voltage divider network to program the maximum TEC current and voltage limits for both the heating and cooling modes.
