The ADP2389/ADP2390 are current mode control, synchronous step-down, dc-to-dc regulators. They integrate a 17 mΩ high-side power MOSFET and a 4.5 mΩ synchronous rectifier MOSFET to provide a high efficiency solution. The ADP2390 operates in pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode to improve the system efficiency at light load. The ADP2389/ADP2390 run from an input voltage of 4.5 V to 18 V and can deliver up to 12 A of output current. The output voltage can be adjusted to 0.6 V and the switching frequency can be programmed between 200 kHz to 2200 kHz.The ADP2389/ADP2390 target high performance applications that require high efficiency and design flexibility. External compensation and soft start provide design flexibility. The power-good output and precision enable input provide simple and reliable power sequencing. An enhanced transient response feature improves the load transient performance, which reduces the output capacitance. The ADP5301 is a high efficiency, ultralow quiescent current step-down regulator that draws only a 180 nA quiescent current to regulate the output at no load.The ADP5301 runs from an input startup voltage range of 2.15 V to 6.50 V, allowing the use of multiple alkaline/NiMH, Li-Ion cells, or other power sources. The output voltage is selectable from 0.8 V to 5.0 V by an external VID resistor and factory fuse. The total solution requires only four tiny external components.The ADP5301 can operate between hysteresis mode and PWM mode via the SYNC/MODE pin. The regulator in hysteresis mode achieves excellent efficiency at a power of less than 1 mW and provides up to 50 mA of output current. The regulator in PWM mode produces a lower output ripple and supplies up to 500 mA of output current. The flexible configuration capability during operation of the device enables very efficient power management to meet both the longest battery life and low system noise requirements.The ADP5301 contains a VOUTOK flag, which monitors the output voltage and runs at a 2 MHz switching frequency in PWM mode. The LT3091 is a 1.5A, low dropout negative linear regulator that is easily paralleled to increase output current or spread heat on surface mounted boards. Designed with a precision current reference followed by a high performance rail-to-rail voltage buffer, this regulator finds use in applications requiring precision output, high current with no heat sink, output adjustability to zero and low dropout voltage. The device can also be configured as a 3-terminal floating regulator.The LT3091 features fast transient response, high PSRR and output noise as low as 18μVRMS. The LT3091 generates a wide output voltage range (0V to –32V) while maintaining unity gain operation. This yields virtually constant bandwidth, load regulation, PSRR and noise, independent of the programmed output voltage.The LT3091 supplies 1.5A at a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. Operating quiescent current is nominally 1.2mA and drops to << 1μA in shutdown. A single resistor adjusts the LT3091’s precision programmable current limit. The device’s positive or negative current monitor either sources a current (0.25mA/A) or sinks a current (0.5mA/A) proportional to output current. The LTC2937 is a 6-channel power supply sequencer and voltage supervisor. Supplies are enabled or disabled with precise user controlled order and time spacing. To detect power supply output faults during sequencing and monitoring, the LTC2937 accurately monitors supply turn-on/-off delays and output voltage levels. In the event of a fault, response actions include complete power supply shutdown and optional restarts. Root cause of power faults are logged to EEPROM. For systems with high supply count, a simple single wire connection between multiple LTC2937 devices allows sequencing expansion to 300 supplies. After successful sequencing and supply voltage stabilization, the reset output pulls high to initiate microprocessor or other system activity. To accommodate supply margin testing, the reset output can be disabled. Upon supply turn-off, integrated current sources are available as needed to discharge slowly decaying supplies. The AD688 is a high precision ±10 V tracking reference. Low tracking error, low initial error and low temperature drift give the AD688 reference absolute ±10 V accuracy performance previously unavailable in monolithic form. The AD688 uses a proprietary ion-implanted buried Zener diode, and laser-wafer-drift- trimming of high stability thin-film resistors to provide outstanding performance at low cost.The AD688 includes the basic reference cell and three additional amplifiers. The amplifiers are laser-trimmed for low offset and low drift and maintain the accuracy of the reference. The amplifiers are configured to allow Kelvin connections to the load and/or boosters for driving long lines or high current loads, delivering the full accuracy of the AD688 where it is required in the application circuit.The low initial error allows the AD688 to be used as a system reference in precision measurement applications requiring 12-bit absolute accuracy. In such systems, the AD688 can provide a known voltage for system calibration and the cost of periodic recalibration can therefore be eliminated. Furthermore, the mechanical instability of a trimming potentiometer and the potential for improper calibration can be eliminated by using the AD688 and calibration software.The AD688 is available in three versions. The AD688AQ and BQ grades are packaged in 16-pin cerdip (0.3') packages and are specified for operation from -40°C to +85°C. The AD688SQ grade is specified for operation from -55°C to +125°C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Precision Tracking. The AD688 offers precision tracking ±10 V Kelvin output connections with no external components. Tracking error is less than 1.5 mV and fine-trim is available for applications requiring exact symmetry between the +10 V and −10 V outputs. Accuracy. The AD688 offers 12-bit absolute accuracy without any user adjustments. Optional fine-trim connections are provided for applications requiring higher precision. The fine-trimming does not alter the operating conditions of the Zener or the buffer amplifiers and thus does not increase the temperature drift. Low output noise. Output noise of the AD688 is low— typically 6 μVp-p. A pin is provided for broadband noise filtering using an external capacitor.
