The LTM4611 is a high density 15A output, switch mode DC/DC buck converter power supply capable of operating from very low voltage input supplies. Included in the package are the buck switching controller, power FETs, inductor and loop-compensation components. The LTM4611 delivers up to 15A continuous current at high efficiency from an input voltage of 1.5VIN up to 5.5VIN. The output voltage is set between 0.8V and 5V by a resistor. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed. High switching frequency and a current mode architecture enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports frequency synchronization, multiphase/current sharing operation, Burst Mode operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. The LTM4611 is available in a thermally enhanced 15mm × 15mm × 4.32mm LGA package. The LTC3604 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 2.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 3.6V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3604 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3604 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. The ADM1168 Super Sequencer® is a configurable supervisory/ sequencing device that offers a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple supply systems.The device also provides up to eight programmable inputs for monitoring undervoltage faults, overvoltage faults, or out-of-window faults on up to eight supplies. In addition, eight programmable outputs can be used as logic enables. Six of these programmable outputs can also provide up to a 12 V output for driving the gate of an NFET that can be placed in the path of a supply.The logical core of the device is a sequencing engine. This state machine-based construction provides up to 63 different states. This design enables very flexible sequencing of the outputs based on the condition of the inputs.A block of nonvolatile EEPROM is available that can be used to store user-defined information and may also be used to hold a number of fault records that are written by the sequencing engine defined by the user when a particular fault or sequence occurs.The ADM1168 is controlled via configuration data that can be programmed into an EEPROM. The LTC1628/LTC1628-PG are high performance dual step-down switching regulator controllers that drive all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows adjustment of the frequency up to 300kHz. Power loss and noise due to the ESR of the input capacitors are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The precision 0.8V reference and power good output indicator are compatible with future microprocessor generations, and a wide 3.5V to 30V (36V maximum) input supply range encompasses all battery chemistries.A RUN/SS pin for each controller provides both soft-start and optional timed, short-circuit shutdown. Current foldback limits MOSFET dissipation during short-circuit conditions when overcurrent latchoff is disabled. Output overvoltage protection circuitry latches on the bottom MOSFET until VOUT returns to normal. The FCB mode pin can select among Burst Mode, constant frequency mode and continuous inductor current mode or regulate a secondary winding. The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent.The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging.
