The ADP3335 is a member of the ADP330x family ofprecision low dropout any CAP voltage regulators. TheADP3335 operates with an input voltage range of +2.6 Vto +12 V and delivers a continuous load current up to 500mA. The ADP3335 stands out from the conventionalLDOs with the lowest thermal resistance of any MSOP-8package and an enhanced process that enables it to offerperformance advantages beyond its competition. Its patenteddesign requires only a 1.0 µF output capacitor forstability. This device is insensitive to output capacitorEquivalent Series Resistance (ESR), and is stable with anygood quality capacitor, including ceramic (MLCC) typesfor space-restricted applications. The ADP3335 achieves exceptional accuracy of ±0.9% at room temperature and ±1.8% over temperature, line and load variations. The dropout voltage of the ADP3335 is only 200 mV (typical) at 500 mA.This device also includes a safety currentlimit, thermal overload protection and a shutdown feature.In shutdown mode, the ground current is reduced to lessthan 2 µA. The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent.The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging. The ADP3301 is a member of the ADP330x family of precision low dropout anyCAP® voltage regulators. The ADP3301 stands out from the conventional LDOs with a novel architecture, an enhanced process and a new package. Its patented design includes a noninverting wideband driver and a stage that permits the use of an internal “pole splitting” capacitor to stabilize the feedback loop with a single output capacitor as small as 0.47 µF. This device is stable with any type of capacitor regardless of its ESR (Equivalent Serial Resistance) value, including ceramic types (MLCC) for space restricted applications. The ADP3301 achieves exceptional accuracy of ±0.8% at room temperature and ±1.4% overall accuracy over temperature, line and load regulations. The dropout voltage of the ADP3301 is only 100 mV (typical) at 100 mA.In addition to the new architecture and process, ADI’s new proprietary thermally enhanced package (Thermal Coastline) can handle 1 W of power dissipation without external heat sink or large copper surface on the PC board. This keeps PC board real estate to a minimum and makes the ADP3301 very attractive for use in portable equipment.The ADP3301 operates with a wide input voltage range from 3 V to 12 V and delivers a load current in excess of 100 mA. It features an error flag that signals when the device is about to lose regulation or when the short circuit or thermal overload protection is activated. The ADM1066 Super Sequencer® is a configurable supervisory/ sequencing device that offers a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple-supply systems. In addition to these functions, the ADM1066 integrates a 12-bit ADC and six 8-bit voltage output DACs. These circuits can be used to implement a closed-loop margining system that enables supply adjustment by altering either the feedback node or reference of a dc-to-dc converter using the DAC outputs. Supply margining can be performed with a minimum of external components. The ADM6316 / ADM6318 / ADM6319 / ADM6320 / ADM6321 / ADM6322 are supervisory circuits that monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems. As well as providing power-on reset signals, an on-chip watchdog timer can reset the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within a preset timeout period. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push button through a manual reset input. The seven devices feature different combinations of watchdog input, manual reset input, and output stage configuration, as shown in Table 1 of the data sheet.Each device is available in a choice of 26 reset threshold options ranging from 2.5 V to 5 V in 100 mV increments. There are also four reset timeout options of 1 ms, 20 ms, 140 ms, and 1120 ms (minimum) and four watchdog timeout options of 6.3 ms, 102 ms, 1600 ms, and 25.6 sec (typical). Not all device options are released for sale as standard models. To ensure the longest battery life in portable applications, the ADP2108 has a power save mode that reduces the switching frequency under light load conditions.The ADP2108 runs on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 600 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2108 is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.5 V, 2.3 V, 1.82 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.3 V, 1.2 V, 1.1 V, and 1.0 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2108 has an internal soft start and is internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2108 draws less than 1 μA from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge and soft start to prevent input current over-shoot at startup. The ADP2108 is available in 5-ball WLCSP and 5-lead TSOT packages. The ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 are precision 10.0 V, 5.0 V, 2.5 V, and 3.0 V, respectively, band gap voltage references featuring high accuracy, high stability, and low power consumption. The devices are housed in tiny, 5-lead SC70 and TSOT packages, as well as in 8-lead SOIC version. The SOIC version of the ADR01, ADR02, and ADR03 are drop-in replacements1 to the industry-standard REF01, REF02, and REF03. The small footprint and wide operating range make the ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 references ideally suited for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP pin can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM pin is provided on the devices for fine adjustment of the output voltage.The ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 are compact, low drift voltage references that provide a stable output voltage from a wide supply voltage range. The devices are available in 5-lead SC70 and TSOT packages and an 8-lead SOIC package with A, B, and C grade selections.
