The ADM823 / ADM824 / ADM825 are supervisory circuits that monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems. In addition to providing power-on reset signals, an on-chip watchdog timer can reset the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within a preset timeout period. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push-button, through a manual reset input. The three parts feature different combinations of watchdog input, manual reset input, and output stage configuration, as shown in Table 1.These parts are available in a choice of seven reset threshold options ranging from 2.19 V to 4.63 V. The LTM4607 is a high efficiency switching mode buck-boost power supply. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, and support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, the LTM4607 supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 24V, set by a resistor. This high efficiency design delivers up to 5A continuous current in boost mode (10A in buck mode). Only the inductor, sense resistor, bulk input and output capacitors are needed to finish the design. The low profile package enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. The high switching frequency and current mode architecture enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The LTM4607 can be frequency synchronized with an external clock to reduce undesirable frequency harmonics. Fault protection features include overvoltage and foldback current protection. The DC/DC μModule® regulator is offered in a small thermally enhanced 15mm × 15mm × 2.8mm LGA package. The LTC3533 is a wide VIN range, highly efficient, fixed frequency, buck-boost DC/DC converter that operates from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single cell lithium-ion/polymer or multi-cell alkaline/NiMH applications where the output voltage is within the input voltage range.The LTC3533 features programmable Burst Mode operation, extended VIN and VOUT ranges down to 1.8V, and increased output current. Switching frequencies up to 2MHz are programmed with an external resistor. These designs are available as 3-terminal (series) devices and are packaged in the compact SOT-23, 3-lead surface-mount package. The versatility of these references makes them ideal for use in battery-powered 3 V or 5 V systems where there can be wide variations in supply voltage and a need to minimize power dissipation.The superior accuracy and temperature stability of the AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 result from the precise matching and thermal tracking of on-chip components. Patented temperature drift curvature correction design techniques minimize the nonlinearities in the voltage output temperature characteristic.The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 series mode devices source or sink up to 5 mA of load current and operate efficiently with only 200 mV of required headroom supply. These parts draw a maximum 70 μA of quiescent current with only a 1.0 μA/V variation with supply voltage. The advantage of these designs over conventional shunt devices is extraordinary. Valuable supply current is no longer wasted through an input series resistor, and maximum power efficiency is achieved at all input voltage levels.The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 are available in two grades, A and B, and are provided in a tiny footprint, the SOT-23. The LTC3604 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 2.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 3.6V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3604 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3604 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application.
