The AD7476 / AD7477 / AD7478 are, respectively, 12-bit, 10-bit, and 8-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation ADCs. The parts operate from a single 2.35 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. Each part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 6 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and the conversion is initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with these parts. The AD7476 / AD7477 / AD7478 use advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. The reference for the parts is taken internally from VDD. This allows the widest dynamic input range to the ADC. Thus, the analog input range for the parts are 0 V to VDD. The conversion rate is determined by the SCLK.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS First 12-/10-/8-Bit ADCs in SOT-23 Packages. High Throughput with Low Power Consumption. Flexible Power/Serial Clock Speed Management. The conversion rate is determined by the serial clock, allowing the conversion time to be reduced through the serial clock speed increase. This allows the average power consumption to be reduced while not converting. The parts also feature a shutdown mode to maximize power efficiency at lower throughput rates. Current consumption is 1 μA maximum when in shutdown mode. Reference Derived from the Power Supply. No Pipeline Delay. The parts feature a standard successive-approximation ADC with accurate control of the sampling instant via a CS input and once-off conversion control.APPLICATIONS Battery-powered systems Personal digital assistants Medical instruments Mobile communications Instrumentation and control systems Data acquisition systems High speed modems Optical sensors

The AD7740 is a low-cost, ultrasmall synchronous Voltage-to-FrequencyConverter (VFC). It works from a single 3.0 V to3.6 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply consuming 0.9 mA. The AD7740is available in an 8-lead SOT-23 and also in an 8-lead MSOPpackage. Small package, low cost and ease of use were majordesign goals for this product. The part contains an on-chip 2.5 Vbandgap reference but the user may overdrive this using anexternal reference. This external reference range includes VDD.The full-scale output frequency is synchronous with the clocksignal on the CLKIN pin. This clock can be generated with theaddition of an external crystal (or resonator) or supplied from aCMOS-compatible clock source. The part has a maximuminput frequency of 1 MHz.For an analog input signal that goes from 0 V to VREF, the outputfrequency goes from 10% to 90% of fCLKIN. In buffered mode, the part provides a very high input impedance and accepts arange of 0.1 V to VDD – 0.2 V on the VIN pin. There is alsoan unbuffered mode of operation that allows VIN to go from–0.15 V to VDD + 0.15 V. The modes are interchangeable usingthe BUF pin.The AD7740 (Y Grade) is guaranteed over the automotivetemperature range of –40°C to +105°C. The AD7740 (K Grade)is guaranteed from 0°C to 85°C.Product Highlights The AD7740 is a single channel, single-ended VFC. It is available in 8-lead SOT-23 and 8-lead MSOP packages, and is intended for low-cost applications. The AD7740 offers considerable space saving over alternative solutions. The AD7740 operates from a single 3.0 V to 3.6 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply and consumes typically 0.9 mA when the input is unbuffered. It also contains an automatic power-down function. The AD7740 does not require external resistors and capacitors to set the output frequency. The maximum output frequency is set by a crystal or a clock. No trimming or calibration is required. The analog input can be taken to 150 mV below GND for true bipolar operation. The specified voltage reference range on REFIN is from 2.5 V to the supply voltage, VDD.Applications Isolation of high common-mode voltages Low-cost analog-to-digital conversion Battery monitoring Automotive sensing

The ADG3308-1 is a bidirectional level translator containing eight bidirectional channels. They can be used in multivoltage digital system applications such as a data transfer between a low voltage DSP controller and a higher voltage device. The internal architecture allows the device to perform bidirectional level translation without an additional signal to set the direction in which the translation takes place. The voltage applied to VCCA sets the logic levels on the A side of the device, and VCCY sets the levels on the Y side. For proper operation, VCCA must always be less than VCCY. The VCCA-compatible logic signals applied to the A side of the device appear as VCCY-compatible levels on the Y side. Similarly, VCCY-compatible logic levels applied to the Y side of the device appear as VCCA-compatible logic levels on the A side. The enable pin (EN) provides three-state operation on both the A side and the Y side pins. When the EN pin is pulled low, the terminals on both sides of the device are in the high impedance state. For normal operation, EN should be driven high. The ADG3308-1 is available in a 20-ball WLCSP. The EN pin is referred to the VCCA supply voltage. The ADG3308-1 guaranteed to operate over the 1.15 V to 5.5 V supply voltage range and the extended −40°C to +85°C temperature range.Product Highlights Bidirectional logic level translation. The ADG3308 is a bidirectional level translator containing eight bidirectional channels. The ADG3308 can be used in multivoltage digital system applications, such as a data transfer between a low voltage DSP controller and a higher voltage device. The VCCA compatible logic signals applied to the A side of the device appear as VCCY compatible levels on the Y side. Similarly, VCCY compatible logic levels applied to the Y side of the device appear as VCCA compatible logic levels on the A side. The enable pin (EN) provides three-state operation on both the A side and the Y side pins. When the EN pin is pulled low, the terminals on both sides of the device are in the high impedance state. For normal operation, EN should be driven high. The ADG3308 is available in a compact 20-lead TSSOP and a 20-lead LFCSP. The EN pin is referred to the VCCY supply voltage. The ADG3308 is guaranteed to operate over the 1.15 V to 5.5 V supply voltage range and the extended −40°C to +85°C temperature range.Product Highlights Bidirectional logic level translation. Fully guaranteed over the 1.15 V to 5.5 V supply range. No direction pin.
