The ADG1208 and ADG1209 are monolithic, iCMOS® analogmultiplexers comprising eight single channels and four differentialchannels, respectively. The ADG1208 switches one of eight inputsto a common output as determined by the 3-bit binary addresslines A0, A1, and A2. The ADG1209 switches one of fourdifferential inputs to a common differential output as determinedby the 2-bit binary address lines A0 and A1. An EN input onboth devices enable or disable the device. When disabled, allchannels are switched off. When on, each channel conductsequally well in both directions and has an input signal rangethat extends to the supplies.The iCMOS (industrial CMOS) modular manufacturingprocess combines high voltage CMOS (complementary metal-oxidesemiconductor) and bipolar technologies. It enables thedevelopment of a wide range of high performance analog ICscapable of 33 V operation in a footprint that no other generationof high voltage devices has been able to achieve. Unlike analogICs using conventional CMOS processes, iCMOS componentscan tolerate high supply voltages while providing increasedperformance, dramatically lower power consumption, andreduced package size.The ultralow capacitance and exceptionally low charge injectionof these multiplexers make them ideal solutions for data acquisitionand sample-and-hold applications, where low glitch and fastsettling are required. The ADG1411 and ADG1412 differ only in that the digital control logic is inverted. The ADG1411 switches are turned on with Logic 0 on theappropriate control input, whereas the ADG1412 switches are turned on with Logic 1. The ADG1413 has two switches withdigital control logic similar to that of the ADG1411; the logic is inverted on the other two switches. Each switch conducts equallywell in both directions when on and has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. In the off condition, signal levels upto the supplies are blocked.The ADG1413 exhibits break-before-make switching action for use in multiplexer applications. The ADG3300 is a bidirectional logic level translator that contains eight bidirectional channels. It can be used in multivoltage digital system applications such as data transfer between a low voltage DSP/controller and a higher voltage device. The internal architecture allows the device to perform bidirectional logic level translation without an additional signal to set the direction of the translation.The voltage applied to VCCA sets the logic levels on the A side of the device, while VCCY sets the levels on the Y side. For proper operation, VCCA must always be less than VCCY. The VCCA-compatible logic signals applied to the A side of the device appear as VCCY-compatible levels on the Y side. Similarly, VCCY-compatible logic levels applied to the Y side of the device appear as VCCA-compatible logic levels on the A side.The enable pin provides three-state operation of the Y side pins. When the enable pin (EN) is pulled low, the A1 to A8 pins are internally pulled down by 6 kΩ resistors, while the Y terminals are in the high impedance state. The AD7923 is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, 4-channel, successive-approximation (SAR) ADC. It operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. It contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled by CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and conversion is also initiated at this point.The AD7923 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at maximum throughput rates. At maximum throughput rates, it consumes 1.2 mA maximum with 3 V supplies and 1.5 mA maximum with 5 V supplies.Through the configuration of the control register, the analog input range can be selected as 0 V to REFIN or 0 V to 2 × REFIN, with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The AD7923 features four single-ended analog inputs with achannel sequencer to allow a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially.The conversion time for the AD7923 is determined by the serial clock, SCLK, frequency, since this is used as the master clock to control the conversion. The conversion time can be as short as 800 ns with a 20 MHz SCLK.

The VDRIVE function allows the serial interface to connect directly to either 3 V or 5 V processor systems independent of AVDD. Flexible Power/Serial Clock Speed Management. The conversion rate is determined by the serial clock, allowing the conversion time to be reduced through the serial clock speed increase. The parts also feature various shutdown modes to maximize power efficiency at lower throughput rates. Current consumption is 0.5 μA max when in full shutdown. No Pipeline Delay. The parts feature a standard successive approximation ADC with accurate control of the sampling instant via a CS input and once off conversion control.

The AD8183 (G = +1) and AD8185 (G = +2) are high speed Triple 2-to-1 multiplexers. They offer -3 dB full signal bandwidth up to 360 MHz along with slew rate in excess of 1000 V/µs. With better than -72 dB of all hostile crosstalk and 100 dB of isolation, they are useful in many high speed applications. The differential gain and differential phase error of 0.01% and 0.02°, along with 0.1 dB flatness to 90 MHz make AD8183 and AD8185 ideal for professional video and LCD multiplexing. They offer 15 ns switching time making them an excellent choice for switching video signals, while consuming less than 25 mA on ±5 V supply voltage.
