The TMP03/TMP04 are monolithic temperature detectors thatgenerate a modulated serial digital output that varies in directproportion to the temperature of the device. An onboard sensorgenerates a voltage precisely proportional to absolute temperaturewhich is compared to an internal voltage reference andinput to a precision digital modulator. The ratiometric encodingformat of the serial digital output is independent of the clock drifterrors common to most serial modulation techniques such asvoltage-to-frequency converters. Overall accuracy is ±1.5°C(typical) from –25°C to +100°C, with excellent transducer linearity.The digital output of the TMP04 is CMOS/TTLcompatible, and is easily interfaced to the serial inputs of mostpopular microprocessors. The open-collector output of theTMP03 is capable of sinking 5 mA. The TMP03 is best suitedfor systems requiring isolated circuits utilizing optocouplers orisolation transformers.The TMP03 and TMP04 are specified for operation at supplyvoltages from 4.5 V to 7 V. Operating from 5 V, supply current(unloaded) is less than 1.3 mA.The TMP03/TMP04 are rated for operation over the –40°C to+100°C temperature range in the low cost TO-92, SO-8, andTSSOP-8 surface mount packages. Forsome systems, the factory calibration eliminates the need forsystem level calibration and greatly simplifies it for others.The ADIS16136 provides data at rates of up to 2048 SPS andoffers an averaging/decimation filter structure for optimizingnoise/bandwidth trade-offs. The serial peripheral interface (SPI)and user register structure provide easy access to configurationcontrols and calibrated sensor data for embedded processorplatforms.The 36 mm × 44 mm × 14 mm package provides four holes forsimple mechanical attachment, using M2 (or 2-56 standard size)machine screws along with a standard 24-pin, dual row, 1 mmpitch connector that supports electrical attachment to a printedcircuit board (PCB) or cable system. The ADT7311 is a high accuracy digital temperature sensor in a narrow 8-lead SOIC package. It contains a band gap temperature reference and a 16-bit ADC to monitor and digitize the temperature to a 0.0078°C resolution. The ADC resolution, by default, is set to 13 bits (0.0625°C). The ADC resolution is a user programmable mode that can be changed through the serial interface.The ADT7311 is guaranteed to operate over supply voltages from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the average supply current is typically 210 μA. The ADT7311 has a shutdown mode that powers down the device and offers a shutdown current of typically 2 μA. The ADT7311 is rated for operation over the −40°C to +150°C temperature range.The CT pin is an open-drain output that becomes active when the temperature exceeds a programmable critical temperature limit. The default critical temperature limit is 147°C. The INT pin is also an open-drain output that becomes active when the temperature exceeds a programmable limit.
