The TMP05 / TMP06 are monolithic temperature sensors that generate a modulated serial digital output (PWM), which varies in direct proportion to the temperature of the devices. The high period (TH) of the PWM remains static over all temperatures, while the low period (TL) varies. The B Grade version offers a high temperature accuracy of ±1°C from 0°C to 70°C with excellent transducer linearity. The digital output of the TMP05 / TMP06 is CMOS-/TTL-compatible and is easily interfaced to the serial inputs of most popular microprocessors. The flexible open-drain output of the TMP06 is capable of sinking 5 mA.The TMP05 / TMP06 are specified for operation at supply voltages from 3 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the supply current is typically 370 μA. The TMP05 / TMP06 are rated for operation over the –40°C to +150°C temperature range. It is not recommended to operate these devices at temperatures above 125°C for more than a total of 5% (5,000 hours) of the lifetime of the devices. They are packaged in low cost, low area SC-70 and SOT-23 packages.The TMP05 / TMP06 have three modes of operation: continuously converting mode, daisy-chain mode, and one shot mode. A three-state FUNC input determines the mode in which the TMP05 / TMP06 operate.The CONV/IN input pin is used to determine the rate at which the TMP05 / TMP06 measures temperature in continuously converting mode and one shot mode. In daisy-chain mode the, CONV/IN pin operates as the input to the daisy chain.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The TMP05/TMP06 have an on-chip temperature sensor that allows an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature. The measurable temperature range is –40°C to +150°C. Supply voltage is 3 V to 5.5 V. Space-saving 5-lead SOT-23 and SC-70 packages. Temperature accuracy is typically ±0.5°C. Each part needs a decoupling capacitor to achieve this accuracy. Temperature resolution of 0.025°C. The TMP05/TMP06 feature a one shot mode that reduces the average power consumption to 102 μW at 1 SPS.APPLICATIONS Isolated sensors Environmental control systems Computer thermal monitoring Thermal protection Industrial process control Power-system monitors

ADXL362BCCZ-R2
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADXL362 is an ultralow power, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer that consumes less than 2 μA at a 100 Hz output data rate and 270 nA when in motion triggered wake-up mode. Unlike accelerometers that use power duty cycling to achieve low power consumption, the ADXL362 does not alias input signals by undersampling; it samples the full bandwidth of the sensor at all data rates.The ADXL362 always provides 12-bit output resolution; 8-bit formatted data is also provided for more efficient single-byte transfers when a lower resolution is sufficient. Measurement ranges of ±2 g, ±4 g, and ±8 g are available, with a resolution of 1 mg/LSB on the ±2 g range. For applications where a noise level lower than the normal 550 μg/√Hz of the ADXL362 is desired, either of two lower noise modes (down to 175 μg/√Hz typical) can be selected at minimal increase in supply current.In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL362 has many features to enable true system level power reduction. It includes a deep multimode output FIFO, a built-in micropower temperature sensor, and several activity detection modes including adjustable threshold sleep and wake-up operation that can run as low as 270 nA at a 6 Hz (approximate) measurement rate. A pin output is provided to directly control an external switch when activity is detected, if desired. In addition, the ADXL362 has provisions for external control of sampling time and/or an external clock.The ADXL362 operates on a wide 1.6 V to 3.5 V supply range, and can interface, if necessary, to a host operating on a separate, lower supply voltage. The ADXL362 is available in a 3 mm × 3.25 mm × 1.06 mm package.APPLICATIONS Hearing aids Home healthcare devices Motion enabled power save switches Wireless sensors Motion enabled metering devices

This measurement range is extendable to ±50,000°/sec with the addition of an external resistor. It is ideally suited for applications where exceptionally wide measurement ranges are needed.The ADXRS649 is a complete angular rate sensor (gyroscope) that uses the Analog Devices, Inc., patented high volume BiMOS surface-micromachining process to make a complete gyro on one chip. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design rejects the influence of linear acceleration, enabling the ADXRS649 to offer rate sensing in harsh environments where shock and vibration are present.The output signal, RATEOUT (B1, A2), is a voltage proportional to the angular rate about the axis normal to the top surface of the package. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. An external capacitor is used to set the band-width. The measurement range is extendable to ±50,000°/sec by adding an external resistor. Low power consumption (3.5 mA) enables very low power consumption, and ultrafast startup (3 ms) allows for quick power cycling of the gyro. At 10 samples per second, a pair of CR2032 coin cells can power the ADXRS649 for three months.A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite the sensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signal condi-tioning circuits. AD8495ARMZ-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 are precision instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensators on an integrated circuit. They produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from a thermocouple signal by combining an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier. They can be used as standalone thermometers or as switched output setpoint controllers using either a fixed or remote setpoint control.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V) and can measure temperatures below 0°C by offsetting the reference input. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD849x typically operates with a total supply current of 180 μA, but it is also capable of delivering in excess of ±5 mA to a load.The AD8494 and AD8496 are precalibrated by laser wafer trimming to match the characteristics of J type (iron-constantan) thermocouples; the AD8495 and AD8497 are laser trimmed to match the characteristics of K type (chromel-alumel) thermo-couples. See Table 1 on the data sheet for the optimized ambient temperature range of each part.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 allow a wide variety of supply voltages. With a 5 V single supply, the 5 mV/°C output allows the devices to cover nearly 1000 degrees of a thermo-couple’s temperature range.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 work with 3 V supplies, allowing them to interface directly to lower supply ADCs. They can also work with supplies as large as 36 V in industrial systems that require a wide common-mode input range.Product Highlights Complete, precision laser wafer trimmed thermocouple signal conditioning system in a single IC package. Flexible pinout provides for operation as a setpoint controller or as a standalone Celsius thermometer. Rugged inputs withstand 4 kV ESD and provide over-voltage protection (OVP) up to VS ± 25 V. Differential inputs reject common-mode noise on the thermocouple leads. Reference pin voltage can be offset to measure 0°C on single supplies. Available in a small, 8-lead MSOP that is fully RoHS compliant.Applications K type thermocouple temperature measurement Setpoint controller Celsius thermometer Universal cold junction compensator White goods (oven, stove top) temperature measurements Exhaust gas temperature sensing Catalytic converter temperature sensing div#landing_page_sec ul { padding:0 0 15px 10px; margin:0px; } div#landing_page_sec li { padding:3px 0 2px 20px; margin:0px; list-style:none; background:url(/static/imported-files/embedded_html/images/li_img.gif) no-repeat 7px 9px; display:block; color:#000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }

The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 are precision instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensators on an integrated circuit. They produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from a thermocouple signal by combining an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier. They can be used as standalone thermometers or as switched output setpoint controllers using either a fixed or remote setpoint control.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V) and can measure temperatures below 0°C by offsetting the reference input. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD849x typically operates with a total supply current of 180 μA, but it is also capable of delivering in excess of ±5 mA to a load.The AD8494 and AD8496 are precalibrated by laser wafer trimming to match the characteristics of J type (iron-constantan) thermocouples; the AD8495 and AD8497 are laser trimmed to match the characteristics of K type (chromel-alumel) thermo-couples. See Table 1 on the data sheet for the optimized ambient temperature range of each part.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 allow a wide variety of supply voltages. With a 5 V single supply, the 5 mV/°C output allows the devices to cover nearly 1000 degrees of a thermo-couple’s temperature range.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 work with 3 V supplies, allowing them to interface directly to lower supply ADCs. They can also work with supplies as large as 36 V in industrial systems that require a wide common-mode input range.Product Highlights Complete, precision laser wafer trimmed thermocouple signal conditioning system in a single IC package. Flexible pinout provides for operation as a setpoint controller or as a standalone Celsius thermometer. Rugged inputs withstand 4 kV ESD and provide over-voltage protection (OVP) up to VS ± 25 V. Differential inputs reject common-mode noise on the thermocouple leads. Reference pin voltage can be offset to measure 0°C on single supplies. Available in a small, 8-lead MSOP that is fully RoHS compliant. Applications J type thermocouple temperature measurement Setpoint controller Celsius thermometer Universal cold junction compensator White goods (oven, stove top) temperature measurements Exhaust gas temperature sensing Catalytic converter temperature sensing div#landing_page_sec ul { padding:0 0 15px 10px; margin:0px; } div#landing_page_sec li { padding:3px 0 2px 20px; margin:0px; list-style:none; background:url(/static/imported-files/embedded_html/images/li_img.gif) no-repeat 7px 9px; display:block; color:#000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }

The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are programmable digital gyroscopes that combine industry-leading MEMS and signal processing technology in a single compact package. They provide accuracy performance that would require full motion calibration with any other MEMS gyroscope in their class. When power is applied, the ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 automatically start up and begin sampling sensor data, without requiring configuration commands from a system processor. An addressable register structure and a common serial peripheral interface (SPI) provide simple access to sensor data and configuration settings. Many digital processor platforms support the SPI with simple firmware-level instructions.The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 provide several programmable features for in-system optimization. The sensor bandwidth switch (50 Hz and 330 Hz), Bartlett window FIR filter length, and sample rate settings provide users with controls that enable noise vs. bandwidth optimization. The digital input/output lines offer options for a data ready signal that helps the master processor efficiently manage data coherency, an alarm indicator signal for triggering master processor interrupts, and a general-purpose function for setting and monitoring system-level digital controls/ conditions.The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are drop-in replacements for the ADIS1625x family and come in LGA packages (11.2 mm × 11.2 mm × 5.5 mm) that meet Pb-free solder reflow profile requirements, per JEDEC J-STD-020. They have an extended operating temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.APPLICATIONS Platform control and stabilization Navigation Medical instrumentation Robotics
