The AD6623 is a four channel Transmit Signal Processor (TSP) that creates high bandwidth data for Transmit Digital-to-Analog Converters (TxDAC®s) from baseband data provided by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Modern TxDACs have achieved sufficiently high sampling rates, analog bandwidth, and dynamic range to create the first Intermediate Frequency (IF) directly. The AD6623 synthesizes multi-carrier and multi-standard digital signals to drive these TxDACs. The RAM-based architecture allows easy reconfiguration for multi-mode applications. Modulation, pulse-shaping and anti-imaging filters, static equalization, and tuning functions are combined in a single, cost-effective device. Digital IF signal processing provides repeatable manufacturing, higher accuracy, and more flexibility than comparable high dynamic range analog designs.The AD6623 is pin compatible to the AD6622 and can operate in AD6622 compatible control register mode. Each TSP has five cascaded signal processing elements: a programmable interpolating RAM Coefficient Filter (RCF), a programmable Scale and Power Ramp, a programmable 5th order Cascaded Integrator Comb (CIC5) interpolating filter, a flexible 2nd order Re-Sampling Cascaded Integrator Comb filter (rCIC2), and a Numerically Controlled Oscillator/tuner (NCO). The AD6623 has four identical digital TSPs complete with synchronization circuitry and cascadable wideband channel summation. The outputs of the four TSPs are summed and scaled on-chip. In multi-carrier channel wideband transmitters, a bi-directional bus allows the Parallel (wideband) IF Input/Output to drive a second DAC. In this operational mode two AD6623 channels drive one DAC and the other two AD6623 channels drive a second DAC. Multiple AD6623s may be combined by driving the INOUT[17:0] of the succeeding with the OUT[17:0] of the preceding chip. The INOUT[17:0] can alternatively be masked off by software to allow preceding AD6623s outputs to be ignored.Each channel accepts input data from independent serial ports that may be connected directly to the serial port of Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chips. The AD6623 utilizes a 3.3V I/O power supply and a 2.5V core power supply. All I/O pins are 5V tolerant. All control registers and coefficient values are programmed through a generic microprocessor interface. Intel and Motorola microprocessor bus modes are supported. The AD7147 CapTouch™ controller is designed for use with capacitance sensors implementing functions such as buttons, scroll bars, and wheels. The sensors need only one PCB layer, enabling ultrathin applications.The AD7147 is an integrated CDC with on-chip environmental calibration. The CDC has 13 inputs channeled through a switch matrix to a 16-bit, 250 kHz sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) converter. The CDC is capable of sensing changes in the capacitance of the external sensors and uses this information to register a sensor activation. By programming the registers, the user has full control over the CDC setup.High resolution sensors require minor software to run on the host processor.The AD7147 is designed for single electrode capacitance sensors (grounded sensors). There is an active shield output to minimize noise pickup in the sensor.The AD7147 has on-chip calibration logic to compensate for changes in the ambient environment. The calibration sequence is performed automatically and at continuous intervals as long as the sensors are not touched. This ensures that there are no false or non-registering touches on the external sensors due to a changing environment.The AD7147 has an SPI-compatible serial interface, and the AD7147-1 has an I2C®-compatible serial interface. Both parts have an interrupt output, as well as a GPIO. There is a VDRIVE pin to set the voltage level for the serial interface independent of VCC.The AD7147 is available in a 24-lead, 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP and operates from a 2.6 V to 3.6 V supply. The AD7357 is a dual, 14-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation ADC that operates from a single 2.5 V power supply and features throughput rates of up to 4.2 MSPS. The part contains two ADCs, each preceded by a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold circuit that can handle input frequencies in excess of 110 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs allowing for easy interfacing to microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS; conversion is also initiated at this point. The conversion time is determined by the SCLK frequency.The AD7357 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. With a 2.5 V supply and a 4.2 MSPS throughput rate, the device consumes 14 mA typically. The part also offers flexible power/throughput rate management when operating in normal mode as the quiescent current consumption is so low.The analog input range for the device is the differential common mode ±VREF/2. The AD737 is a low power, precision, monolithic, true rms-to-dc converter. It is laser trimmed to provide a maximum error of ±0.2 mV ± 0.3% of reading with sine wave inputs. Furthermore, it maintains high accuracy while measuring a wide range of input waveforms, including variable duty cycle pulses and triac (phase) controlled sine waves. The low cost and small physical size of this converter make it suitable for upgrading the performance of non-rms precision rectifiers in many applications. Compared to these circuits, the AD737 offers higher accuracy at equal or lower cost.The AD737 computes the rms value of both the ac and dc input voltages, and is ac-coupled by adding an input capacitor. In this mode, the AD737 can resolve input signal levels of 100 μV rms or less, despite variations in temperature or supply voltage. High accuracy is maintained for input waveforms with crest factors of 1 to 3 and crest factors at 2.5% or less with respect to full-scale input level.The AD737 has no output buffer amplifier, thereby significantly reducing dc offset errors occurring at the output, which makes the device highly compatible with high input impedance ADCs.Requiring only 160 μA of power supply current, the AD737 is optimized for use in portable multimeters and other battery-powered applications. In power-down mode, the standby supply current in is typically 25 μA.The AD737 has both high (1012 Ω) and low impedance input options. The high-Z FET input connects high source impedance input attenuators, and a low impedance (8 kΩ) input accepts rms voltages of up to 0.9 V while operating from the minimum power supply voltage of ±2.5 V. The two inputs can be used either single ended or differentially.The AD737 achieves 1% of reading error bandwidth, exceeding 10 kHz for input amplitudes from 20 mV rms to 200 mV rms, while consuming only 0.72 mW.The AD737 is available in two performance grades. The AD737J and AD737K grades operate over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The AD737JR-5 is tested with supply voltages of ±2.5 V dc. The AD737A grade operates over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD737 is available in two low cost, 8-lead packages: PDIP and SOIC_N.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Computes average rectified, absolute, or true rms value of a signal regardless of waveform. The AD7417 and AD7418 are 10-bit, 4-channel and single-channelADCs with an on-chip temperature sensor that can operate from asingle 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply. The devices contain a 15 μssuccessive approximation converter, a 5-channel multiplexer, atemperature sensor, a clock oscillator, a track-and-hold, and areference (2.5 V). The AD7416 is a temperature-monitoring onlydevice in an 8-lead package.The temperature sensor on the parts can be accessed via multiplexerChannel 0. When Channel 0 is selected and a conversionis initiated, the resulting ADC code at the end of the conversiongives a measurement of the ambient temperature (±1°C @ 25°C).On-chip registers can be programmed with high and low temperaturelimits, and an open-drain overtemperature indicator (OTI)output is provided, which becomes active when a programmedlimit is exceeded.A configuration register allows programming of the sense of theOTI output (active high or active low) and its operating mode(comparator or interrupt). A programmable fault queue counterallows the number of out-of-limit measurements that mustoccur before triggering the OTI output to be set to preventspurious triggering of the OTI output in noisy environments.An I2C® compatible serial interface allows the AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 registers to be written to and read back. The measurable temperature range is −40°C to +125°C. An overtemperature indicator is implemented by carrying out a digital comparison of the ADC code for Channel 0 (temperature sensor) with the contents of the on-chip TOTI setpoint register. The AD7542 is a precision 12-bit CMOS multiplying DAC designed for direct interface to 4- or 8-bit microprocessors.The functional diagram shows the AD7542 to consist of three 4-bit data registers, a 12-bit DAC register, address decoding logic and a 12-bit CMOS multiplying DAC. Data is loaded into the data registers in three 4-bit bytes, and subsequently transferred to the 12-bit DAC register. All data loading or data transfer operations are identical to the WRITE cycle of a static RAM. A clear input allows the DAC register to be easily reset to all zeros when powering up the device.
