Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7564 contains four 12-bit DACs in one monolithic device. The DACs are standard current output with separate VREF , IOUT1 , IOUT2 and RFB terminals. These DACs operate from a single +3.3 V to +5 V supply. The AD7564 is a serial input device. Data is loaded using FSIN, CLKIN and SDIN. Two address pins A0 and A1 set up a device address, and this feature may be used to simplify device loading in a multi-DAC environment. Alternatively, A0 and A1 can be ignored and the serial out capability used to configure a daisy-chained system. All DACs can be simultaneously updated using the asynchronous LDAC input, and they can be cleared by asserting the asynchronous CLR input. The device is packaged in 28-pin SOIC, SSOP and DIP packages.APPLICATIONS Process control Portable instrumentation General purpose test equipment

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7686 is a 16-bit, charge redistribution, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 5 V power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC with no missing codes, an internal conversion clock, and a versatile serial interface port. The part also contains a low noise, wide bandwidth, short aperture delay track-and-hold circuit. On the CNV rising edge, the AD7686 samples an analog input IN+ between 0 V to REF with respect to a ground sense IN−. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set up to the supply voltage.Power dissipation scales linearly with throughput. The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus or provides an optional busy indicator. This device is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply VIO.The AD7686 is housed in a 10-lead MSOP or a 10-lead QFN (LFCSP) with operation specified from −40°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Battery-powered equipment Data acquisitions Instrumentation Medical instruments Process controls

AD7863ARSZ-10

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7863 is a high speed, low power, dual 14-bit analog-to-digital converter that operates from a single 5 V supply. The part contains two 5.2 μs successive approximation ADCs, two track/hold amplifiers, an internal 2.5 V reference and a high speed parallel interface. Four analog inputs are grouped into two channels (A and B) selected by the A0 input. Each channel has two inputs (VA1 and VA2 or VB1 and VB2) that can be sampled and converted simultaneously, thus preserving the relative phase information of the signals on both analog inputs. The part accepts an analog input range of ±10 V (AD7863-10), ±2.5 V (AD7863-3), and 0 V to 2.5 V (AD7863-2). Overvoltage protection on the analog inputs for the part allows the input voltage to go to ±17 V, ±7 V, or +7 V respectively, without causing damage.A single conversion start signal (CONVST) simultaneously places both track/holds into hold and initiates conversion on both channels. The BUSY signal indicates the end of conversion and at this time the conversion results for both channels are available to be read. The first read after a conversion accesses the result from VA1 or VB1, and the second read accesses the result from VA2 or VB2, depending on whether the multiplexer select (A0) is low or high, respectively. Data is read from the part via a 14-bit parallel data bus with standard CS and RD signals. In addition to the traditional dc accuracy specifications such as linearity, gain, and offset errors, the part is also specified for dynamic performance parameters including harmonic distortion and signal-to-noise ratio. The AD7863 is fabricated in the Analog Devices, Inc. linear compatible CMOS (LC2MOS) process, a mixed technology process that combines precision bipolar circuits with low power CMOS logic. It is available in 28-lead SOIC_W and SSOP.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD7863 features two complete ADC functions allowing simultaneous sampling and conversion of two channels. Each ADC has a two-channel input mux. The conversion result for both channels is available 5.2 μs after initiating conversion. The AD7863 operates from a single 5 V supply and consumes 70 mW typical. The automatic power-down mode, where the part goes into power-down once conversion is complete and wakes up before the next conversion cycle, makes the AD7863 ideal for battery-powered or portable applications. The part offers a high speed parallel interface for easy connection to microprocessors, microcontrollers, and digital signal processors. The part is offered in three versions with different analog input ranges. The AD7863-10 offers the standard industrial input range of ±10 V; the AD7863-3 offers the common signal processing input range of ±2.5 V, while the AD7863-2 can be used in unipolar 0 V to 2.5 V applications. The part features very tight aperture delay matching between the two input sample and hold amplifiers.

The AD7927 is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, 8-channel, successive approximation ADC. The part operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and the conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part. The AD7927 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at maximum throughput rates. At maximum throughput rates, the AD7927 consumes 1.2 mA maximum with 3 V supplies; with 5 V supplies, the current consumption is 1.5 mA maximum.Through the configuration of the control register, the analog input range for the part can be selected as 0 V to REFIN or 0 V to 2 × REFIN, with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The AD7927 features eight single-ended analog inputs with a channel sequencer to allow a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially. The conversion time for the AD7927 is determined by the SCLK frequency, as this is also used as the master clock to control the conversion. The AD7938-6 is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The part operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features throughput rates up to 625 kSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth, differential track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies up to 50 MHz.The AD7938-6 features eight analog input channels with a channel sequencer that allows a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially. The part can operatewith either single-ended, fully differential, or pseudo differential analog inputs. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using standard control inputs that allow easy interfacing with microprocessors and DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CONVST and the conversion is initiated at this point. The AD7938-6 has an accurate on-chip 2.5 V reference that can be used as the reference source for the analog-to-digital conversion. Alternatively, this pin can be overdriven to provide an external reference. The AD7938-6 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. The part also features flexible power management options. An on-chip control register allows the user to set up different operating conditions, including analog input range and configuration, output coding, power management, and channel sequencing.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS High throughput with low power consumption. Eight analog inputs with a channel sequencer. Accurate on-chip 2.5 V reference. Single-ended, pseudo differential, or fully differential analog inputs that are software selectable. Single-supply operation with VDRIVE function. The VDRIVE function allows the parallel interface to connect directly to 3 V or 5 V processor systems independent of VDD. No pipeline delay. Accurate control of the sampling instant via a CONVST input and once-off conversion control.
