The ADF4368 is a high performance, ultralow jitter, integer-N and fractional-N phase-locked loop (PLL) with integrated VCO ideally suited for frequency conversion applications.The high performance PLL has a figure of merit of -239dBc/Hz, very low 1/f Noise of normalized -287dBc/Hz and high PFD frequency that can achieve ultralow in-band noise and integrated jitter. The ADF4368 can generate any frequency from 800 MHz to 12.8 GHz without an internal doubler, thereby eliminating the need for sub-harmonic filters. Σ-Δ modulator includes a 25-bit fixed modulus which allows hertz frequency resolution and an additional 24-bit variable modulus which allows even finer resolution and flexibility for frequency planning. 9 dBm output power at 12.8 GHz in single ended configuration with 16 step power adjust feature makes it very useful for any application.For multiple frequency conversion applications such as phase array radar or massive MIMO systems, the outputs of multiple ADF4368 can be aligned by using SYNC input or EZSync. EZSync method is used when it is difficult to distribute the SYNC signal to all parts precisely. The HMC1040LP3CE is a self-biased GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier housed in a leadless 3x3 mm plastic surface mount package. The amplifier operates between 24 and 43.5 GHz, delivering 23 dB of small signal gain, 2.2 dB noise figure, and output IP3 of +22 dBm, while requiring only 70 mA from a +2.5 V supply. The P1dB output power of +12 dBm enables the LNA to function as a LO driver for many of Hittite’s balanced, I/Q and image reject mixers. Covering DC to 4 GHz, this switch offers high isolation and has a low insertion loss of 0.5 dB to 0.7 dB at 2 GHz. The switch offers a single positive bias and true TTL/CMOS compatibility. The HMC463 is a GaAs MMIC PHEMT Low Noise AGC Distributed Amplifier die which operates between 2 and 20 GHz. The amplifier provides 14 dB of gain, 2.5 dB noise figure and 19 dBm of output power at 1 dB gain compression while requiring only 60 mA from a +5V supply. An optional gate bias (Vgg2) is provided to allow Adjustable Gain Control (AGC) of 10 dB typical. Gain flatness is excellent at ±0.15 dB from 6 - 18 GHz making the HMC463 ideal for EW, ECM and RADAR applications. The HMC463 amplifiercan easily be integrated into Multi-Chip-Modules (MCMs) due to its small size. Integrated DSM can generate frequencies with nearly 0 Hz frequency error. The DSM also includes a built-in programmable frequency sweep capability, with various automatic and user defined sweep modes and triggering options, including hardware trigger pin, or SPI trigger with optional delayed trigger.HMC983LP5E is a versatile part capable of various configurations.
