Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5272 / AD5274 are single-channel, 1024-/256-position digital rheostats that combine industry leading variable resistor performance with nonvolatile memory (NVM) in a compact package. The AD5272 / AD5274 ensure less than 1% end-to-end resistor tolerance error and offer 50-times programmable (50-TP) memory. The guaranteed industry leading low resistor tolerance error feature simplifies open-loop applications as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications. The AD5272 / AD5274 device wiper settings are controllable through the I2C-compatible digital interface. Unlimited adjustments are allowed before programming the resistance value into the 50-TP memory. The AD5272/AD5274 do not require any external voltage supply to facilitate fuse blow and there are 50 opportunities for permanent programming. During 50-TP activation, a permanent blow fuse command freezes the wiper position (analogous to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer). The AD5272 / AD5274 are available in a 3 mm × 3 mm 10-lead LFCSP package and in a 10-lead MSOP package. The parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.APPLICATIONS Mechanical rheostat replacements Op-amp: variable gain control Instrumentation: gain, offset adjustment Programmable voltage to current conversions Programmable filters, delays, time constants Programmable power supply Sensor calibration

AD7191BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7191 is a low noise, complete analog front end for high precision measurement applications. It contains a low noise, 24-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADC. The on-chip low noise gain stage means that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC. It contains two differential analog inputs. The part also includes a temperature sensor that can be used for temperature compensation. For ease-of-use, all the features of the AD7191 are controlled by dedicated pins. The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1, 8, 64, or 128, supporting a full-scale differential input of ±5 V, ±625 mV, ±78 mV, or ±39 mV. The output data rate can be programmed to 10 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or 120 Hz. Simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz rejection is obtained when the output data rate is set to 10 Hz or 50 Hz; 60 Hz only rejection is obtained when the output data rate is set to 60 Hz. The AD7191 can be operated with the internal clock, or an external clock can be used. The part operates with a power supply of 3 V to 5.25 V. It consumes a current of 4.35 mA. It is available in a 24-lead TSSOP package.ApplicationsWeigh scalesStrain gauge transducersPressure measurementMedical and scientific instrumentation

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7606/AD7606-6/AD7606-4 are 16-bit, simultaneous sampling, analog-to-digital data acquisition systems (DAS) with eight, six, and four channels, respectively. Each part contains analog input clamp protection, a second-order antialiasing filter, a track-and-hold amplifier, a 16-bit charge redistribution successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a flexible digital filter, a 2.5 V reference and reference buffer, and high speed serial and parallel interfaces. The AD7606/AD7606-6/AD7606-4 operate from a single 5 V supply and can accommodate ±10 V and ±5 V true bipolar input signals while sampling at throughput rates up to 200 kSPS for all channels. The input clamp protection circuitry can tolerate voltages up to ±16.5 V. The AD7606 has 1 MΩ analog input impedance regardless of sampling frequency. The single supply operation, on-chip filtering, and high input impedance eliminate the need for driver op amps and external bipolar supplies. The AD7606/AD7606-6/AD7606-4 antialiasing filter has a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 22 kHz and provides 40 dB antialias rejection when sampling at 200 kSPS. The flexible digital filter is pin driven, yields improvements in SNR, and reduces the 3 dB bandwidth.Applications Power-line monitoring and protection systems Multiphase motor control Instrumentation and control systems Multiaxis positioning systems Data acquisition systems (DAS)

The AD7781 is a complete low power front-end solution for bridge sensor products, including weigh scales, strain gages, and pressure sensors. It contains a precision low power 20-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADC, an on-chip, low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and an on-chip oscillator.Consuming only 330 μA, the AD7781 is particularly suitable forportable or battery-operated products where very low power is required. The AD7781 also has a power-down mode that allows the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power down the AD7781 when not converting, thus increasing the battery life of the product. For ease of use, all the features of the AD7781 are controlled bydedicated pins. Each time that a data read occurs, eight status bits are appended to the 20-bit conversion. These status bits contain a pattern sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of the serial transfer. The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1 or 128, supporting a full-scaledifferential input of ±5 V or ±39 mV. The device has two filter response options. The filter response at the 16.7 Hz update rate provides superior dynamic performance. The settling time is 120 ms at this update rate. At the 10 Hz update rate, the filter response provides better than -45 dB of stop-band attenuation. In load cell applications, this stop-band rejection is useful to reject low frequency mechanical vibrations of the load cell. The settling time is 300 ms at this update rate. Simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hzrejection occurs at both the 10 Hz and 16.7 Hz update rates. The AD7781 operates with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V.It is available in a narrow body, 14-lead SOIC package and in a 16-lead TSSOP package.ApplicationsWeigh scalesPressure measurementIndustrial process controlPortable instrumentation

AD8217BRMZ-RL
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8217 is a high voltage, high-resolution current shunt amplifier. It features a set gain of 20 V/V, with a maximum ±0.35% gain error over the entire temperature range. The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with any typical converter. The AD8217 offers excellent common-mode rejection from 4.5 V to 80 V, and includes an internal LDO, which directly powers the device from the high voltage rail. Therefore, no addi-tional supply is necessary, provided that the input common-mode range is 4.5 V to 80 V. The AD8217 performs unidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of industrial and telecom applications including motor control, battery management, and base station power amplifier bias control. The AD8217 offers breakthrough performance throughout the −40°C to +125°C temperature range. It features a zero-drift core, which leads to a typical offset drift of ±100 nV/°C throughout the operating temperature and common-mode voltage range. Special attention is devoted to output linearity being maintained throughout the input differential voltage range of 0 mV to 250 mV, regardless of the common-mode voltage present, and the typical input offset voltage is ±100 μV.The AD8217 is offered in a 8-lead MSOP package and is specified from −40°C to +125°C.Applications High side current sensing 48 V telecom Power management Base stations Unidirectional motor control Precision high voltage current sources
