DAC8800FPZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The DAC-8800 Trim DAC™ is designed to be a general purpose digitally controlled voltage adjustment device. The output voltage range can be independently set for each set of four D/A converters. In addition, both unipolar and bipolar output voltage ranges are easy to establish by external reference input high and low terminals. The digitally-programed output voltages are ideal for op amp trimming, voltage-controlled amplifier gain setting and any general purpose trimming tasks.A three-wire serial digital interface loads the contents of eight internal DAC registers which establish the output voltage levels. An asynchronous Clear (CLR) input places all DACs in a zero code output condition, very handy for system power-up. An internal regulator provides TTl input compatibility over a wide range of VDD supply voltages. Single supply operation is available by connecting VSS to GND.

The LTC2444/LTC2445/LTC2448/LTC2449 are 8-/16- channel (4-/8-differential) high speed 24-bit No Latency ∆∑ ADCs. They use a proprietary delta-sigma architecture enabling variable speed/resolution. Through a simple 4-wire serial interface, ten speed/resolution combinations 6.9Hz/280nVRMS to 3.5kHz/25µVRMS (4kHz with external oscillator) can be selected with no latency between conversion results or shift in DC accuracy (offset, full-scale, linearity, drift). Additionally, a 2X speed mode can be selected enabling output rates up to 7kHz (8kHz if an external oscillator is used) with one cycle latency.Any combination of single-ended or differential inputs can be selected with a common mode input range from ground to VCC, independent of VREF. While operating in the 1X speed mode the first conversion following a new speed, resolution, or channel selection is valid. Since there is no settling time between conversions, all 8 differential channels can be scanned at a rate of 500Hz. At the conclusion of each conversion, the converter is internally reset eliminating any memory effects between successive conversions and assuring stability of the high order delta-sigma modulator.Applications High Speed Multiplexing Weight Scales Auto Ranging 6-Digit DVMs Direct Temperature Measurement High Speed Data Acquisition

The AD5259 provides a compact, nonvolatile LFCSP-10 (3 mm x 3 mm) or MSOP-10 (3 mm x 4.9 mm) packaged solution for 256-position adjustment applications. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors, but with enhanced resolution and solid-state reliability. The terms digital potentiometer, VR (variable resistor), and RDAC are used interchangeably. The wiper settings are controllable through an I2C-compatible digital interface that is also used to read back the wiper register and EEPROM content. Resistor tolerance is also stored within EEPROM, providing an end-to-end tolerance accuracy of 0.1%.A separate VLOGIC pin delivers increased interface flexibility. For users who need multiple parts on one bus, Address Bit AD0 and Address Bit AD1 allow up to four devices on the same busAPPLICATIONS LCD panel VCOM adjustment LCD panel brightness and contrast control Mechanical potentiometer replacement in new designs Programmable power supplies RF amplifier biasing Automotive electronics adjustment Gain control and offset adjustment Fiber to the home systems Electronics level settings

AD5262BRUZ20
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5260 / AD5262 provide a single- or dual-channel, 256- position, digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device.1 These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. Each channel of the AD5260/AD5262 contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the SPI-compatible serial-input register. The resistance between the wiper and either end point of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. The variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 20 Ω, 50 Ω, or 200 Ω has a nominal temperature coefficient of 35 ppm/°C. Unlike the majority of the digital potentiometers in the market, these devices can operate up to 15 V or ±5 V provided proper supply voltages are furnished. Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an internal serial-to-parallel shift register, which is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. The AD5260 contains an 8-bit serial register whereas the AD5262 contains a 9-bit serial register. Each bit is clocked into the register on the positive edge of the CLK pin. The AD5262 address bit determines the corresponding VR latch to be loaded with the last eight bits of the data word during the positive edging of CS strobe. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register enables simple daisy-chaining in multiple VR applications without additional external decoding logic. An optional reset pin (PR) forces the wiper to the midscale position by loading 0x80 into the VR latch. The AD5260 / AD5262 are available in thin surface-mount 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead TSSOP packages. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Mechanical potentiometer replacement Instrumentation: gain, offset adjustment Stereo channel audio level control Programmable voltage-to-current conversion Programmable filters, delays, time constants Line impedance matching Low resolution DAC replacement

AD5380BSTZ-3
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5380 is a complete, single-supply, 40-channel, 14-bit DAC available in a 100-lead LQFP package. All 40 channels have an on-chip output amplifier with rail-to-rail operation. The AD5380 includes a programmable internal 1.25 V/2.5 V, 10 ppm/°C reference, an on-chip channel monitor function that multiplexes the analog outputs to a common MON_OUT pin for external monitoring, and an output amplifier boost mode that allows optimization of the amplifier slew rate. The AD5380 contains a double-buffered parallel interface that features a 20 ns WR pulse width, an SPI-, QSPI-, -MICROWIRE, -DSP compatible serial interface with interface speeds in excess of 30 MHz, and an I2C-compatible interface that supports a 400 kHz data transfer rate.An input register followed by a DAC register provides double buffering, allowing the DAC outputs to be updated independently or simultaneously using the LDAC input. Each channel has a programmable gain and offset adjust register that allows the user to fully calibrate any DAC channel. Power consumption is typically 0.25 mA/channel with boost off.APPLICATIONS Variable optical attenuators (VOA) Level setting (ATE) Optical micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) Control systems Instrumentation
