AD8597ARZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8597/AD8599 are very low noise, low distortion operational amplifiers ideal for use as preamplifiers. The low noise of 1.1 nV/√Hz and low harmonic distortion of −120 dB (or better) at audio bandwidths give the AD8597/AD8599 the wide dynamic range necessary for preamplifiers in audio, medical, and instru-mentation applications. The excellent slew rate of 14 V/μs and 10 MHz gain bandwidth make them highly suitable for medical applications. The low distortion and fast settling time make them ideal for buffering of high resolution data converters. The AD8597 is available in 8-lead SOIC and LFCSP packages, while the AD8599 is available in an 8-lead SOIC package. They are both specified over a −40°C to +125°C temperature range. The AD8597 and AD8599 are members of a growing series of low noise op amps offered by Analog Devices, Inc.Applications Professional audio preamplifiers ATE/precision testers Imaging systems Medical/physiological measurements Precision detectors/instruments Precision data conversion

AD9212ABCPZ-65
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9212 is an octal, 10-bit, 40 MSPS/65 MSPS ADC with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. Operating at a conversion rate of up to 65 MSPS, it is optimized for outstanding dynamic performance and low power in applications where a small package size is critical. The ADC requires a single 1.8 V power supply and LVPECL-/ CMOS-/LVDS-compatible sample rate clock for full performanceoperation. No external reference or driver components arerequired for many applications. The ADC automatically multiplies the sample rate clock forthe appropriate LVDS serial data rate. A data clock (DCO)for capturing data on the output and a frame clock (FCO) for signaling a new output byte are provided. Individual channelpower-down is supported and typically consumes less than 2 mW when all channels are disabled. The ADC contains several features designed to maximizeflexibility and minimize system cost, such as programmableclock and data alignment and programmable digital test patterngeneration. The available digital test patterns include built-in deterministic and pseudorandom patterns, along with custom user-defined test patterns entered via the serial port interface (SPI).The AD9212 is available in a RoHS-compliant, 64-lead LFCSP. It isspecified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Small Footprint. Eight ADCs are contained in a small package. Low Power of 100 mW per Channel at 65 MSPS. Ease of Use. A data clock output (DCO) operates up to 300 MHz and supports double data rate (DDR) operation. User Flexibility. SPI control offers a wide range of flexible features to meet specific system requirements. Pin-Compatible Family. This includes the AD9222 (12-bit) and AD9252 (14-bit).APPLICATIONS Medical imaging and nondestructive ultrasound Portable ultrasound and digital beam-forming systems Quadrature radio receivers Diversity radio receivers Tape drives Optical networking Test equipment

ADSP-21479KBCZ-1A
Analog Devices Inc.
The fourth generation of SHARC® Processors now includes the low power floating point DSP products – the ADSP-21478 and ADSP-21479 and offers increased performance, hardware-based filter accelerators, audio and application-focused peripherals, and new memory configurations capable of supporting a single chip solution. All devices are pin-compatible with each other and completely code-compatible with all prior SHARC Processors. These newest members of the fourth generation SHARC Processor family are based on a single-instruction, multiple-data (SIMD) core, which supports both 32-bit fixed-point and 32-/40-bit floating-point arithmetic formats and their low power make them particularly suitable for battery powered applications or where a higher ambient operating temperature is required. The ADSP-21479 offers a very low power and high performance – 266 MHz/1596 MFLOPs – in a BGA and LQFP package within the fourth generation SHARC Processor family. This feature of power makes the ADSP-21479 particularly well suited to address the automotive audio and many industrial control segments where low power is a requirement. In addition to its high core performance, the ADSP-21479 includes additional processing blocks such as FIR, IIR, and FFT accelerators to increase the total performance of the system. There is a new feature called Variable Instruction Set Architecture (VISA) that allows the code size to be decreased by 20% to 30% and increase the memory size availability. The fourth generation DSP allows the ability to connect to external memory by providing a glueless interface to 16-bit wide SDR SDRAMs. Fourth-generation SHARC Processors also integrate application-specific peripherals designed to simplify hardware design, minimize design risks, and ultimately reduce time to market. Grouped together, and broadly named the Digital Applications Interface (DAI), these functional blocks may be connected to each other or to external pins via the software-programmable Signal Routing Unit (SRU). The SRU is an innovative architectural feature that enables complete and flexible routing amongst DAI blocks. Peripherals connected through the SRU include but are not limited to serial ports, SPI ports, S/PDIF Tx/Rx, and an 8-Channel asynchronous sample rate converter block. The fourth generation SHARC allows data from the serial ports to be directly transferred to external memory by the DMA controller. Other peripherals such as UART and Two-Wire Interface are routed through a Digital Peripheral Interface (DPI).

It contains aninternal band gap reference, a temperature sensor, and a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to monitor and digitize the temperature to a resolution of 0.0078°C. The ADC resolution, by default, is set to 13 bits (0.0625°C). The ADC resolution is a user programmable mode that can be changed through the serial interface. The ADT7320 is guaranteed to operate over supply voltages from2.7 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the average supply current istypically 210 μA. The ADT7320 has a shutdown mode that powers down the device and offers a shutdown current of typically 2.0 μA at 3.3 V. The ADT7320 is rated for operation over the −40°C to +150°C temperature range. The CT pin is an open-drain output that becomes active when thetemperature exceeds a programmable critical temperature limit. The INT pin is also an open-drain output that becomes active when the temperature exceeds a programmable limit. The INT pinand CT pin can operate in either comparator or interrupt mode.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Ease of use, no calibration or correction required by the user. Low power consumption. Excellent long term stability and reliability. High accuracy for industrial, instrumentation, and medical applications. Packaged in a 16-lead RoHS-compliant, 4 mm x 4 mm LFCSP package.APPLICATIONS RTD and thermistor replacement Thermocouple cold junction compensation Medical equipment Industrial controls and test Food transportation and storage Environmental monitoring and HVAC Laser diode temperature controls

The ADT7420 is a high accuracy digital temperature sensoroffering breakthrough performance over a wide industrialrange, housed in a 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP package. It contains aninternal band gap reference, a temperature sensor, and a 16-bitADC to monitor and digitize the temperature to 0.0078°Cresolution. The ADC resolution, by default, is set to 13 bits(0.0625°C). The ADT7420 is rated for operation over the −40°C to+150°C temperature range.Pin A0 and Pin A1 are available for address selection, giving theADT7420 four possible I2C addresses. The CT pin is an open-drainoutput that becomes active when the temperature exceedsa programmable critical temperature limit. The INT pin is alsoan open-drain output that becomes active when the temperatureexceeds a programmable limit. The INT pin and CT pincan operate in comparator and interrupt event modes.Product Highlights Ease of use, no calibration or correction required by the user. Low power consumption.
