EVAL-AD7705EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7705 / AD7706?are complete analog front ends for low frequency measurement applications. These 2-/3-channel devices can accept low level input signals directly from a transducer and produce serial digital output. The devices employ a ?-? conversion technique to realize up to 16 bits of no missing codes performance. The selected input signal is applied to a proprietary, programmable-gain front end based around an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by an on-chip digital filter. The first notch of this digital filter can be programmed via an on-chip control register, allowing adjustment of the filter cutoff and output update rate. The AD7705 / AD7706 devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 3.3 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply. The AD7705 features two fully differential analog input channels; the AD7706 features three pseudo differential input channels. Both devices feature a differential reference input. Input signal ranges of 0 mV to 20 mV through 0 V to 2.5 V can be incorporated on both devices when operating with a VDD of 5 V and a reference of 2.5 V. They can also handle bipolar input signal ranges of ?20 mV through ?2.5 V, which are referenced to the AIN(?) inputs on the AD7705 and to the COMMON input on the AD7706.The AD7705 / AD7706 devices, with a 3 V supply and a 1.225 V reference, can handle unipolar input signal ranges of 0 mV to 10 mV through 0 V to 1.225 V. The devices can accept bipolar input ranges of ?10 mV through ?1.225 V. Therefore, the AD7705 / AD7706 devices perform all signal conditioning and conversion for a 2-channel or 3-channel system. The AD7705 / AD7706 are ideal for use in smart, microcontroller, or DSP-based systems. The devices feature a serial interface that can be configured for 3-wire operation. Gain settings, signal polarity, and update rate selection can be configured in software using the input serial port. The parts contains self-calibration and system calibration options to eliminate gain and offset errors on the part itself or in the system. CMOS construction ensures very low power dissipation, and the power-down mode reduces the standby power consumption to 20 ?W typ. These parts are available in a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), plastic dual in-line package (DIP); a 16-lead, wide body (0.3 inch), standard small outline (SOIC) package; and a low profile, 16-lead, thin shrink small outline package (TSSOP).

The AD9680 is a dual, 14-bit, 1.25 GSPS/1 GSPS/820 MSPS/500 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device has an on-chip buffer and sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. This device is designed for sampling wide bandwidth analog signals of up to 2 GHz. The AD9680 is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and low power in a small package. The dual ADC cores feature a multistage, differential pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference eases design considerations. The analog input and clock signals are differential inputs. Each ADC data output is internally connected to two digital down-converters (DDCs). ADA4945-1CP-EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and ?-? analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products. With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/?Hz (full power mode). The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm ? 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. The ADA4945-1 is specified to operate from ?40?C to +125?C.Applications Low power ?-?, PulSAR?, and SAR ADC drivers Single-ended to differential converters Differential buffers Medical imaging Process control Portable electronics

ADAR4002-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADAR4002 is a very low power broadband bi-directional single channel true time delay unit (TDU) and a digital step attenuator (DSA). The IC has 18.5 GHz of bandwidth over a frequency range of 0.5 GHz to 19 GHz with 50 ? input impedance at both RF ports. The TDU has two programmable maximum time delays, each with 7-bit control: Range 0 has a maximum delay of 508ps with a resolution of 4ps. This range is used at lower frequencies and where the ADAR4002 has less loss. Range 1 has a maximum delay of 254ps and a resolution of 2ps. This range has less loss compared to Range 0 and is useful at higher frequencies. The DSA has 6-bit resolution with an attenuation range of 0 dB to 31.5 dB and a step size of 0.5 dB. The ADAR4002 is designed to provide flexible digital control through either a SPI interface or a shift register to allow daisy chaining multiple chips together. The ADAR4002 contains register memory for 32 TDU+DSA states. The memory combined with on-chip sequencers, allows a fast memory advance via the UPDATE pin.The ADAR4002 is available in a 2 mm ? 3 mm 14-lead LFCSP package and is specified from -40?C to 85?C.APPLICATIONSElectronic steerable antenna arraysMulti-Function ArraysSATCOMRADARData LinksTest Equipment
