The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are programmable digital gyroscopes that combine industry-leading MEMS and signal processing technology in a single compact package. They provide accuracy performance that would require full motion calibration with any other MEMS gyroscope in their class. When power is applied, the ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 automatically start up and begin sampling sensor data, without requiring configuration commands from a system processor. An addressable register structure and a common serial peripheral interface (SPI) provide simple access to sensor data and configuration settings. Many digital processor platforms support the SPI with simple firmware-level instructions.The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 provide several programmable features for in-system optimization. The sensor bandwidth switch (50 Hz and 330 Hz), Bartlett window FIR filter length, and sample rate settings provide users with controls that enable noise vs. bandwidth optimization. The digital input/output lines offer options for a data ready signal that helps the master processor efficiently manage data coherency, an alarm indicator signal for triggering master processor interrupts, and a general-purpose function for setting and monitoring system-level digital controls/ conditions.The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are drop-in replacements for the ADIS1625x family and come in LGA packages (11.2 mm × 11.2 mm × 5.5 mm) that meet Pb-free solder reflow profile requirements, per JEDEC J-STD-020. The ADuM3400/ADuM3401/ADuM3402 are 4-channel digitalisolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology.Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air coretransformer technology, these isolation components provideoutstanding performance characteristics superior to alternativessuch as optocoupler devices.iCoupler devices remove the design difficulties commonlyassociated with optocouplers. Typical optocoupler concernsregarding uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transferfunctions, and temperature and lifetime effects are eliminatedwith the simple iCoupler digital interfaces and stable performancecharacteristics. The need for external drivers and other discretecomponents is eliminated with these iCoupler products. Furthermore,iCoupler devices consume one-tenth to one-sixth thepower of optocouplers at comparable signal data rates.The isolators provide four independent isolation channels in avariety of channel configurations and data rates (see theOrdering Guide). All models operate with the supply voltage oneither side ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibilitywith lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltagetranslation functionality across the isolation barrier. Theisolators have a patented refresh feature that ensures dc correctnessin the absence of input logic transitions and during powerup/power-downconditions.In comparison to the ADuM1400/ADuM1401/ADuM1402isolators, the ADuM3400/ADuM3401/ADuM3402 isolatorscontain various circuit and layout changes to provide increasedcapability relative to system-level IEC 61000-4-x testing (ESD/burst/surge). The precise capability in these tests for either set ofisolators is strongly determined by the design and layout of theuser’s board or module. The ADN4624 is a quad-channel, signal isolated, low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) buffer that operates at up to 2.5 Gbps with very low jitter. The device integrates Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, enhanced for high speed operation to provide drop-in galvanic isolation of LVDS signal chains. AC coupling and/or level shifting to the LVDS receivers and from the LVDS drivers allows isolation of other high speed signals such as current mode logic (CML).The ADN4624 includes a refresh mechanism to monitor the input and output states and ensure they remain the same in the absence of data transitions (for example, at power-on).For lower power consumption and high speed operation with low jitter, the LVDS and isolator circuits rely on 1.8 V supplies. Demonstration circuit 2786A is a single output high voltage non-isolated synchronous step-down converter that drives an all N-channel MOSFET power stage. It features the LTC7800, a low quiescent current high frequency (programmable fixed frequency from 320kHz up to 2.25MHz) synchronous step-down DC/DC controller housed in a small 3mm x 4mm QFN package.
This DC2786A operates over an input voltage range from 8V to 40V, while the LTC7800 can operate up to 60V. This demo board produces a 3.3V output voltage with up to 10A output current, and is configured with a sense resistor for current sensing. A mode selector allows the DC2786A to operate in forced continuous operation, pulse-skipping or Burst Mode® operation during light loads.
The LTC7800 features two integrated 5V gate drivers with 20ns deadtime which is good for GaN transistors or logic-level MOSFETs to maximize efficiency. The EXTVCC pin permits the LTC7800 to be powered from the output of the switching regulator or other available source, reducing power dissipation and improving efficiency. The AD7417 and AD7418 are 10-bit, 4-channel and single-channelADCs with an on-chip temperature sensor that can operate from asingle 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply. The devices contain a 15 μssuccessive approximation converter, a 5-channel multiplexer, atemperature sensor, a clock oscillator, a track-and-hold, and areference (2.5 V). The AD7416 is a temperature-monitoring onlydevice in an 8-lead package.The temperature sensor on the parts can be accessed via multiplexerChannel 0. When Channel 0 is selected and a conversionis initiated, the resulting ADC code at the end of the conversiongives a measurement of the ambient temperature (±1°C @ 25°C).On-chip registers can be programmed with high and low temperaturelimits, and an open-drain overtemperature indicator (OTI)output is provided, which becomes active when a programmedlimit is exceeded.A configuration register allows programming of the sense of theOTI output (active high or active low) and its operating mode(comparator or interrupt). A programmable fault queue counterallows the number of out-of-limit measurements that mustoccur before triggering the OTI output to be set to preventspurious triggering of the OTI output in noisy environments.An I2C® compatible serial interface allows the AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 registers to be written to and read back. The threeLSBs of the AD7416/AD7417 serial bus address can be selected,which allows up to eight AD7416/AD7417 devices to be connectedto a single bus.The AD7417 is available in a narrow body, 0.15 inch, 16-lead,small outline package (SOIC) and in a 16-lead, thin shrink,small outline package (TSSOP). Product Highlights The AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 have an on-chip temperature sensor that allows an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature (±1°C @ 25°C, ±2°C overtemperature) to be made. The measurable temperature range is −40°C to +125°C. An overtemperature indicator is implemented by carrying out a digital comparison of the ADC code for Channel 0 (temperature sensor) with the contents of the on-chip TOTI setpoint register. The AD7417 offers a space-saving, 10-bit analog-to-digital solution with four external voltage input channels, an onchip temperature sensor, an on-chip reference, and a clock oscillator. The automatic power-down feature enables the AD7416/ AD7417/AD7418 to achieve superior power performance.
