AD7400YRWZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7400 is a second-order, sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) modulator that converts an analog input signal to a high speed, 1-bit data stream with on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc. iCoupler® technology. The AD7400 operates from a 5 V power supply and accepts a differential input signal of ±200 mV (±320 mV full scale). The analog input is continuously sampled by the analog modulator, eliminating the need for external sample-and-hold circuitry. The input information is contained in the output stream as a density of ones with a data rate of 10 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate digital filter. The serial I/O can use a 5 V or a 3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed CMOS, combined with monolithic air core transformer technology, means the on-chip isolation provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The part contains an on-chip reference. The AD7400 is offered in a 16-lead SOIC and has an operating temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.An external clock version, AD7401, is also available.APPLICATIONS AC motor controls Data acquisition systems A/D + opto-isolator replacements

AD7734BRUZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7734 is a high precision, high throughput analog front end. True 16-bit p-p resolution is achievable with a total conversion time of 500 μs (2 kHz channel switching), making it ideally suitable for high resolution multiplexing applications. The device can be configured via a simple digital interface, which allows users to balance the noise performance against data throughput up to a 15.4 kHz.The analog front end features four single-ended input channels with unipolar or true bipolar input ranges to ±10 V while operating from a single +5 V analog supply. The device has an overrange and underrange detection capability and accepts an analog input overvoltage to ±16.5 V without degrading the performance of the adjacent channels. The differential reference input features “No-Reference” detect capability. The ADC also supports per channel system calibration options. The digital serial interface can be configured for 3-wire operation and is compatible with microcontrollers and digital signal processors. All interface inputs are Schmitt triggered. The device is specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +105°C.Other devices in the AD7734 family are the AD7732 and the AD7738.The AD7732 is similar to AD7734, but its analog front end features two fully differential input channels. The AD7738 analog front end is configurable for four fully differential or eight single-ended input channels, features 0.625 V to 2.5 V bipolar/unipolar input ranges, and accepts a common-mode input voltage from 200 mV to AVDD–300 mV. The AD7738 multiplexer output is pinned out externally, allowing the user to implement programmable gain or signal conditioning before being applied to the ADC.APPLICATIONS PLCs/DCS Multiplexing applications Process control Industrial instrumentation

The AD7986 is an 18-bit, 2 MSPS successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It contains a low power, high speed, 18-bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference (and buffer), error correction circuits, anda versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of CNV, the AD7986 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ andIN− pins. The voltages on these pins usually swing in opposite phases between 0 V and VREF. It features a very high samplingrate turbo mode (TURBO = high) and a reduced power normal mode (TURBO = low) for low power applications where thepower is scaled with the throughput. In normal mode (TURBO = low), the SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisychainseveral ADCs on a single 3-wire bus and provide an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 2.7 V using theseparate VIO supply. The AD7986 is available in a 20-lead LFCSP with operationspecified from −40°C to +85°C. The ADuM440x are 4-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics that are superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The ADuM440x isolators provide four independent isolation channels in a variety of channel configurations and data rates (see the Ordering Guide). All models operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. The ADuM440x isolators have a patented refresh feature that ensures dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions and during power-up/power-down conditions. This family of isolators, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very low power consumption, consuming one-tenth to one-sixth the power of comparable isolators at comparable data rates up to 10 Mbps. All models of the ADuM440x provide low pulse width distortion (<2 ns for C grade). In addition, every model has an input glitch filter to protect against extraneous noise disturbances. The ADuM440x contain circuit and layout enhancements to help achieve system-level IEC 61000-4-x compliance (ESD/burst/surge). The precise capability in these tests for the ADuM440x are strongly determined by the design and layout of the user’s board or module. For more information, see the AN-793 Application Note, ESD/Latch-Up Considerations with iCoupler Isolation Products.Applications General-purpose, high voltage, multichannel isolation Medical equipment Motor drives Power supplies

The ADuM6200 / ADuM6201/ADuM6202 are dual-channel digital isolators with isoPower®, an integrated, isolated DC/DC converter. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology, the DC/DC converter provides up to 400 mW of regulated, isolated power at either 5.0 V or 3.3 V from a 5.0 V input supply, or at 3.3 V from a 3.3 V supply at the power levels shown in Table 1 on the data sheet. These devices eliminate the need for a separate, isolated DC/DC converter in low power, isolated designs. The iCoupler chip scale transformer technology is used to isolate the logic signals and for the magnetic components of the DC/DC converter. The result is a small form factor, total isolation solution. The ADuM6200 / ADuM6201/ADuM6202 isolators provide two independent isolation channels in a variety of channel configurations and data rates (see the Ordering Guide for more information).isoPower uses high frequency switching elements to transfer power through its transformer. ADXL346ACCZ-RL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADXL346 is a small, thin, ultralow power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either an SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C® digital interface. The ADXL346 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes of less than 1.0°.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivity sensing detect the presence or lack of motion by comparing the acceleration on any axis with user-set thresholds. Tap sensing detects single and double taps in any direction. Free-fall sensing detects if the device is falling. Orientation detection is capable of concurrent four- and six-position sensing and a user-selectable interrupt on orientation change for 2D or 3D applications. These functions can be mapped individually to either of two interrupt output pins. An integrated, patent pending memory management system with 32-level first in, first out (FIFO) buffer can be used to store data to minimize host processor activity and lower overall system power consumption.Low power modes enable intelligent motion-based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation. The ADXL346 is supplied in a small, thin, 3 mm × 3 mm × 0.95 mm, 16-lead, plastic package.APPLICATIONS Handsets Medical instrumentation Gaming and pointing devices Industrial instrumentation Personal navigation devices Hard disk drive (HDD) protection
