Demonstration circuit 2638A-A is a high efficiency, high density, μModule regulator with 4.5V to 16V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.5V to 3.3V, and it can supply 100A maximum load current. The demo board has two LTM4678 μModule® regulators, and the LTM4678 is a dual 25A or single 50A step-down regulator with PMBus power system management. Please see LTM4678 data sheet for more detailed information.
DC2638A-A powers up to default settings and produce power based on configuration resistors without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure the part on-the-fly and store the configuration in EEPROM, view telemetry of voltage, current, temperature and fault status.

LT8330 Signal Chain Evaluation Board | Boost Converter w/ 1A, 60V Switch

Demonstration circuit SCP-LT8330-EVALZ features the LT8330, a boost/SEPIC/inverting converter with a 1A, 60V switch. The demo circuit is specifically a boost converter with an operating input voltage range from 10V to 36V and an output voltage of 48V. With a 12V input, the maximum output current is 135mA.
Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely:

Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0 ns maximum.The ADuM240D/ADuM240E/ADuM241D/ADuM241E/ADuM242D/ADuM242E data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.0 kV rms (see the Ordering Guide). The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8 V to 5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, dc correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safe options are available, by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled. The ADF4355 allows implementation of fractional-N or integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizers when used with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency. A series of frequency dividers permits operation from 54 MHz to 6800 MHz.The ADF4355 has an integrated VCO with a fundamental output frequency ranging from 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. In addition, the VCO frequency is connected to divide by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 circuits that allow the user to generate radio frequency (RF) output frequencies as low as 54 MHz. For applications that require isolation, the RF output stage can be muted. The mute function is both pin and software controllable.Control of all on-chip registers is through a simple 3-wire interface. The ADF4355 operates with analog and digital power supplies ranging from 3.15 V to 3.45 V, with charge pump and VCO supplies from 4.75 V to 5.25 V.
