The ADXL345 is a small, thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.The ADXL345 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0°.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivitysensing detect the presence or lack of motion by comparingthe acceleration on any axis with user-set thresholds. Tap sensingdetects single and double taps in any direction. Free-fall sensingdetects if the device is falling. These functions can be mappedindividually to either of two interrupt output pins. The ADG442 is an integrated CMOS component consisting of four individual switches that can be independently selected. It is crafted using an improved LC2MOS process, offering low power dissipation while maintaining high switching speed and low on-resistance.

To activate the ADG442 switches, a logic high signal on the corresponding control input is required. When in the ON state, each switch conducts equally well in both directions, and their input signal range extends to the power supplies. All switches feature break-before-make switching action, making them suitable for multiplexer applications. The design inherently incorporates low charge injection, minimizing transients when switching digital inputs.

The ADF4002 frequency synthesizer is used to implement local oscillators in the up-conversion and down-conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low-noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, a programmable reference divider and programmable N divider. The 14-bit reference counter (R counter), allows selectable REFIN frequencies at the PFD input.A complete phase-locked loop (PLL) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The ADCMP563/ADCMP564 are high speed comparatorsfabricated on Analog Devices’ proprietary XFCB process. Thedevices feature a 700 ps propagation delay with less than 75 psoverdrive dispersion. Dispersion, a measure of the difference inpropagation delay under differing overdrive conditions, is a particularlyimportant characteristic of high speed comparators. A separateprogrammable hysteresis pin is available on the ADCMP564.A differential input stage permits consistent propagation delaywith a wide variety of signals in the common-mode range from−2.0 V to +3.0 V.
