The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 are fully integrated, 8 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition systems incorporating high performance multi-channel sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), 16-bit/ 32-bit ARM7TDMI® MCU, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.The ADCs consists of a 5-channel primary ADC and up to an 8-channel auxiliary ADC. The ADCs operate in single-ended or differential input modes. A single channel buffered voltage output DAC is available on-chip. The DAC output range is programmable to one of two voltage ranges.The devices operate from an on-chip oscillator and a PLL gene-rating an internal high frequency clock up to 10.24 MHz. The microcontroller core is an ARM7TDMI, 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine offering up to 10 MIPS peak performance. 4 kB of SRAM and 32 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory are provided on-chip. The ARM7TDMI core views all memory and registers as a single linear array.The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain four timers. Timer 1 is wake-up timer with the ability to bring the part out of power saving mode. Timer 2 may be configured as a watchdog timer. A 16-bit PWM with six output channels is also provided.The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contain an advanced interrupt controller. The vectored interrupt controller (VIC) allows every interrupt to be assigned a priority level. It also supports nested interrupts to a maximum level of eight per IRQ and FIQ. When IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources are combined, a total of 16 nested interrupt levels are supported. The ADXL345 is a small, thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.The ADXL345 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0°.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivitysensing detect the presence or lack of motion by comparingthe acceleration on any axis with user-set thresholds. Tap sensingdetects single and double taps in any direction. Free-fall sensingdetects if the device is falling. These functions can be mappedindividually to either of two interrupt output pins. An integratedmemory management system with a 32-level first in, first out (FIFO)buffer can be used to store data to minimize host processor activityand lower overall system power consumption.Low power modes enable intelligent motion-based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation.The ADXL345 is supplied in a small, thin, 3 mm × 5 mm × 1 mm, 14-lead, plastic package. The SSM2305 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-Daudio amplifier designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 2.2 W of continuous outputpower with less than 1% THD + N driving a 4 Ω load from a5.0 V supply. It has built-in thermal shutdown and output short-circuitprotection.The SSM2305 features a high efficiency, low noise modulationscheme that does not require external LC output filters. The modulationprovides high efficiency even at low output power. TheSSM2305 operates with 90% efficiency at 1.3 W into 8 Ω or 83%efficiency at 2.2 W into 4 Ω from a 5.0 V supply and has an SNR of>98 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures.The SSM2305 has a micropower shutdown mode with a maximumshutdown current of 30 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga Logic 0 to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-clicksuppression circuitry. This minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, thus reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2305 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The SSM2305 has excellent rejection of power supply noise,including noise caused by GSM transmission bursts and RFrectification. PSRR is typically 60 dB at 217 Hz.The default gain of the SSM2305 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2305 is specified over the commercial temperature range(−40°C to +85°C). It is available in both an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mmlead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and an 8-lead mini smalloutline package (MSOP). The TMP05 / TMP06 are monolithic temperature sensors that generate a modulated serial digital output (PWM), which varies in direct proportion to the temperature of the devices. The high period (TH) of the PWM remains static over all temperatures, while the low period (TL) varies. The B Grade version offers a high temperature accuracy of ±1°C from 0°C to 70°C with excellent transducer linearity. The digital output of the TMP05 / TMP06 is CMOS-/TTL-compatible and is easily interfaced to the serial inputs of most popular microprocessors. The flexible open-drain output of the TMP06 is capable of sinking 5 mA.The TMP05 / TMP06 are specified for operation at supply voltages from 3 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the supply current is typically 370 μA. The TMP05 / TMP06 are rated for operation over the –40°C to +150°C temperature range. It is not recommended to operate these devices at temperatures above 125°C for more than a total of 5% (5,000 hours) of the lifetime of the devices. They are packaged in low cost, low area SC-70 and SOT-23 packages.The TMP05 / TMP06 have three modes of operation: continuously converting mode, daisy-chain mode, and one shot mode. A three-state FUNC input determines the mode in which the TMP05 / TMP06 operate.The CONV/IN input pin is used to determine the rate at which the TMP05 / TMP06 measures temperature in continuously converting mode and one shot mode. In daisy-chain mode the, CONV/IN pin operates as the input to the daisy chain.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The TMP05/TMP06 have an on-chip temperature sensor that allows an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature. The AD22100 is a monolithic temperature sensor with on-chip signal conditioning. It can be operated over the temperature range -50°C to +150°C, making it ideal for use in numerous HVAC, instrumentation and automotive applications.The signal conditioning eliminates the need for any trimming, buffering or linearization circuitry, greatly simplifying the system design and reducing the overall system cost.The output voltage is proportional to the temperature times the supply voltage (ratiometric). The output swings from 0.25 V at -50°C to +4.75 V at +150°C using a single +5.0 V supply.Due to its ratiometric nature, the AD22100 offers a cost effective solution when interfacing to an analog-to-digital converter. The OPx177 family consists of very high precision, single, dual, and quad amplifiers featuring extremely low offset voltage and drift, low input bias current, low noise, and low power consump-tion. Outputs are stable with capacitive loads of over 1000 pF with no external compensation. Supply current is less than 500 μA per amplifier at 30 V. Internal 500 Ω series resistors protect the inputs, allowing input signal levels several volts beyond either supply without phase reversal.Unlike previous high voltage amplifiers with very low offset voltages, the OP1177 (single) and OP2177 (dual) amplifiers are available in tiny 8-lead surface-mount MSOP and 8-lead narrow SOIC packages. The OP270 is a high performance, monolithic, dual operational amplifier with exceptionally low voltage noise density (5 nV/√Hz maximum at 1 kHz). It offers comparable performance to the industry-standard OP27 from Analog Devices, Inc. The OP270 features an input offset voltage of less than 75 μV and an offset drift of less than 1 μV/°C, guaranteed over the full military temperature range. Open-loop gain of the OP270 is more than 1,500,000 into a 10 kΩ load, ensuring excellent gain accuracy and linearity, even in high gain applications. The input bias current is less than 20 nA, which reduces errors due to signalsource resistance. With a common-mode rejection (CMR) of greater than 106 dB and a power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of less than 3.2 μV/V, the OP270 significantly reduces errors due to ground noise and power supply fluctuations. The power consumption of the dual OP270 is one-third less than two OP27 devices, a significant advantage for power conscious applications. The OP270 is unity-gain stable with a gain bandwidth product of 5 MHz and a slew rate of 2.4 V/μs.The OP270 offers excellent amplifier matching, which is important for applications such as multiple gain blocks, low noise instrumentation amplifiers, dual buffers, and low noise active filters.The OP270 conforms to the industry-standard 8-lead CERDIP and PDIP pinouts. The OP191, OP291 and OP491 are single, dual and quad micropower, single-supply, 3 MHz bandwidth amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. All are guaranteed to operate from a 3 volt single supply as well as ±5 volt dual supplies.Fabricated on Analog Devices' CBCMOS process, the OP191 family has a unique input stage that allows the input voltage to safely extend 10 volts beyond either supply without any phase inversion or latch-up. The output voltage swings to within millivolts of the supplies and continues to sink or source current all the way to the supplies.Applications for these amplifiers include portable telecom equipment, power supply control and protection, and interface for transducers with wide output ranges. Sensors requiring a rail-to-rail input amplifier include Hall effect, piezo electric, and resistive transducers.The ability to swing rail-to-rail at both the input and output enables designers to build multistage filters in single-supply systems and maintain high signal-to-noise ratios.The OP191/OP291/OP491 are specified over the extended industrial (-40°C to +125°C) temperature range. The OP191 single and OP291 dual amplifiers are available in 8-pin plastic DIPs and SO surface mount packages. The OP491 quad is available in 14-pin DIPs and narrow 14-pin SO packages.
