EVAL-AD5755-1SDZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5755-1 is a quad, voltage and current output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that operates with a power supply range from −26.4 V to +33 V. On-chip dynamic power control minimizes package power dissipation in current mode. This is achieved by regulating the voltage on the output driver from 7.4 V to 29.5 V using a dc-to-dc boost converter optimized for minimum on-chip power dissipation. Each channel has a corresponding CHART pin so that HART signals can be coupled onto the current output of the AD5755-1.The device uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates of up to 30 MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, DSP, and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also features optional CRC-8 packet error checking, as well as a watchdog timer that monitors activity on the interface.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Dynamic power control for thermal management. 16-bit performance. The ADXL346 is a small, thin, ultralow power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either an SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C® digital interface. The ADXL346 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes of less than 1.0°.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivity sensing detect the presence or lack of motion by comparing the acceleration on any axis with user-set thresholds. Tap sensing detects single and double taps in any direction. Free-fall sensing detects if the device is falling. Orientation detection is capable of concurrent four- and six-position sensing and a user-selectable interrupt on orientation change for 2D or 3D applications. These functions can be mapped individually to either of two interrupt output pins. An integrated, patent pending memory management system with 32-level first in, first out (FIFO) buffer can be used to store data to minimize host processor activity and lower overall system power consumption.Low power modes enable intelligent motion-based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation. The ADXL346 is supplied in a small, thin, 3 mm × 3 mm × 0.95 mm, 16-lead, plastic package.APPLICATIONS Handsets Medical instrumentation Gaming and pointing devices Industrial instrumentation Personal navigation devices Hard disk drive (HDD) protection

Automotive grade gyroscopes have more extensive guaranteed min/max specifications due to automotive testing. The output signal, RATEOUT (1B, 2A), is a voltageproportional to angular rate about the axis normal to the topsurface of the package. The output is ratiometric with respect toa provided reference supply. A single external resistor can beused to lower the scale factor. An external capacitor sets thebandwidth. Other external capacitors are required for operation.A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite thesensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signalconditioning circuits. The ADXRS620 is available in a 7 mm ×7 mm × 3 mm BGA ceramic package.APPLICATIONS Vehicle chassis rollover sensing Inertial measurement units Platform stabilization
