ADP1883ARMZ-1.0-R7
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP1882 / ADP1883 are versatile current-mode, synchronous step-down controllers that provide superior transient response, optimal stability, and current-limit protection by using a constant on-time, pseudo-fixed frequency with a programmable current-limit, current-control scheme. In addition, these devices offer optimum performance at low duty cycles by using valley current-mode control architecture. This allows the ADP1882 / ADP1883 to drive all N-channel power stages to regulate output voltages as low as 0.8 V.The ADP1883 is the power saving mode (PSM) version of the device and is capable of pulse skipping to maintain output regulation while achieving improved system efficiency at light loads (see the Power Saving Mode (PSM) Version (ADP1883) section for more information).Available in three frequency options (300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1.0 MHz, plus the PSM option), the ADP1882/ADP1883 are well suited for a wide range of applications. These ICs not only operate from a 2.75 V to 5.5 V bias supply, but they also can accept a power input as high as 20 V.In addition, an internally fixed soft start period is included to limit input in-rush current from the input supply during startup and to provide reverse current protection during soft start for a pre-charged output. The low-side current-sense, current-gain scheme and integration of a boost diode, along with the PSM/forced pulse-width modulation (PWM) option, reduce the external part count and improve efficiency. The ADP1882 / ADP1883 operate over the -40°C to +125°C junction temperature range and are available in a 10-lead MSOP.

The ADP2323 is a full featured, dual output, step-down dc-to-dc regulator based on current-mode architecture. The ADP2323 integrates two high-side power MOSFETs and two low-side drivers for the external N-channel MOSFETs. The two pulse-width mod-ulation (PWM) channels can be configured to deliver dual 3 A outputs or a parallel-to-single 6 A output. The regulator operates from input voltages of 4.5 V to 20 V, and the output voltage can be as low as 0.6 V.The switching frequency can be programmed between 250 kHz and 1.2 MHz, or synchronized to an external clock to minimize interference in multirail applications. The dual PWM channels run 180° out of phase, thereby reducing input current ripple as well as reducing the size of the input capacitor. The bidirectional synchronization pin can be programmed at a 60°, 90°, or 120° phase shift, providing the possibility for a stackable multiphase power solution. The ADP2323 can be set to operate in pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) mode at a light load for higher efficiency or in forced PWM for noise sensitive applications. External compensation and soft start provide design flexibility. Independent enable inputs and power good outputs provide reliable power sequencing. To enhance system reliability, the device also includes undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent pro-tection (OCP), and thermal shutdown (TSD).The ADP2323 operates over the −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range and is available in a 32-lead LFCSP_WQ package.APPLICATION Communication infrastructure Networking and servers Industrial and instrumentation Healthcare and medical Intermediate power rail conversion DC-to-dc point of load applications

The ADP362x / ADP363x is a family of high current and dual high speed drivers, capable of driving two independent N-channel power MOSFETs. The family uses the industry-standard foot-print but adds high speed switching performance and improved system reliability. The family has an internal temperature sensor and provides two levels of overtemperature protection, an overtemperature warning, and an overtemperature shutdown at extreme junction temperatures. The SD function, generated from a precise internal comparator, provides fast system enable or shutdown. This feature allows redundant overvoltage protection, complementing the protection inside the main controller device, or provides safe system shutdown in the event of an overtemperature warning. The wide input voltage range allows the driver to be compatible with both analog and digital PWM controllers.Digital power controllers are supplied from a low voltage supply, and the driver is supplied from a higher voltage supply. The ADP362x / ADP363x family adds UVLO and hysteresis functions, allowing safe startup and shutdown of the higher voltage supply when used with low voltage digital controllers. The device family is available in thermally enhanced SOIC_N_EP and MINI_SO_EP packaging to maximize high frequency and current switching in a small printed circuit board (PCB) area.APPLICATIONS AC-to-DC switch mode power supplies DC-to-DC power supplies Synchronous rectification Motor drives

The ADP8860 combines a programmable backlight LED charge pump driver with automatic phototransistor control. This combination allows for significant power savings because it changes the current intensity in office and dark ambient light conditions. By performing this function automatically, it eliminates the need fora processor to monitor the phototransistor. The light intensity thresholds are fully programmable via the I2C® interface. A second phototransistor input, with dedicatedcomparators, improves the ambient light detection levels for various user operating conditions. The ADP8860 allows as many as six LEDs to be independently driven up to 30 mA (maximum). A seventh LED can be driven to 60 mA (maximum). All LEDs are programmable for minimum/maximum current and fade in/out times via the I2C interface. These LEDs can also be combined into groups to reduce theprocessor instructions during fade in/out.Driving this entire configuration is a two-capacitor charge pump with gains of 1×, 1.5×, and 2×. This setup is capable of driving amaximum IOUT of 240 mA from a supply of 2.5 V to 5.5 V. The device includes a variety of safety features including short-circuit, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection. These features allow easy implementation of a safe and robust design. Additionally, input inrush currents are limited via an integratedsoft start combined with controlled input to output isolation. The ADP8860 is available in two package types, either a compact 2 mm × 2.4 mm × 0.6 mm WLCSP (wafer level chip scale package) or a small LFCSP (lead frame chip scale package).
